Good morning girls, a foggy morning here so far but I am keeping everything crossed for the sun to appear.
Its the end of the week and so some of you could be feeling a little tired today. Revive yourself with a simple energizing acupressure technique. All you need to do is locate the little dips that appear around the hairline on the back of your neck, and about two fingers width on either side of your spine. Rest the fingers of each hand on the back of your head, and use your thumbs to gently put pressure on this energizing point for 30 seconds.
This week end what are you going to do, that will make sure you have tried your upmost before weigh day on Monday?
Have a great w/e girls.

Hi Everyone. I wasn't near a computer yesterday, so missed out on yesterday's posts until I was able to read them just now. Really enjoyed them!
mjm - I've just tried your acupressure exercise - and I do believe it works! Sorry to put it like that, but I was a bit sceptical! I was feeling quite tired and heavy (I don't mean weight-wise!) and had a muzzy (spelling?!) head so I tried your exercise and seem to be feeling a bit better.
This weekend I am going to keep busy and try not to focus on food, other than eating what I need and enjoying it. I must also try to eat slowly - savouring every mouthful. I tend to eat a little too quickly.
Anyway - good luck to everyone - I hope you all have a good weekend in every way, including in the food/control department. xx

Sorry MJM, I saw your post earlier and was going to reply to say "Yes! IT WORKS - WOW!" but got distracted by work...
This weekend I've got two alternative plans - either outdoors gardening (ours and MILs) or if it rains indoors making casseroles for the freezer and jam and watching the tennis (if it's dry at Wimbledon). I don't tend to pick whilst cooking so should be ok - it's when I've not got much to do that the breadbin starts to beckon to me.
I'm going to try really, really hard this weekend as I know I've been slacking this time and really, really don't want to have to admit to putting on weight after all your encouragement. Whatever happens, I'll re-read some of PMK to remind myself what I need to do. I know that this is a long term plan and the odd hiccup along the way won't put me off this time.

Hi all Yes I was a little sceptical of this sort of thing, but I love it when my SIL gives me a head massage and Reiki. This weekend Im busy busy busy so hoping I will be too busy for food, as I have not been up for PMK much. Expecting a weight gain in a way, but dont mind as have'nt been the best lately, most of my eating ends with "too hell with it, Im starving" although I have strangely been complimented by various people about my weight loss???
So good luck everyone and keep at it no matter what your weight says, the exercise is worth it.

Very busy weekend ahead, so will try the acupressure. We're entertaining tomorrow night - all healthy stuff until we get to the chocolate roulade!
Good luck every one.

Hi mjm, I'm a a bit late getting here, but made it at last. I'm planning to relax this weekend, eat lots of fruit, maybe go for a walk with OH tomorrow in the Forest of Dean (Annemari says there are benches) if it isn't raining too hard!
The trainer on my First Aid course said that eating fruit, especially oranges, is the best way to unclog furred arteries, so I'm going to make a real effort to get my 5 a day in.
Will try the acupressure points - I find the ones on the forehead, just above the middle of the eyebrow are good too, for relieving tension and headaches.
