Good morning SL, its foggy here this morning, but I think once that lifts, its going to be a nice day.
Hopefully with all the widths and cleaning your going to do today you will work off some of the Chinese you ate last night, good luck.
Well I have done really well, even if I say so myself, I am loving my new lateral thigh trainer, it gives me such a good work out, so I will be doing another 20 minutes on that this morning, once Ive finished my cappuccino.
Food wise Iam in total control, and it feels great.
I have got loads of cleaning to do today, so I will be dipping in and out of the forum.
Chrissi I hope you really enjoyed that cheese cake and strawberries yesterday!!!!!!!

What have you all been up to this morning and what have you eaten so far today??
I had 2 pieces of toasted fruit bread and jam, with my cappuccino,
I did 25 mins on my stepper,
Ate a banana,
And for my lunch I had a Muller light yoghurt, with fresh chopped strawberries, grapes and an apple and a sprinkle of muesli, yummy!!
Ive also drank about 4 glasses of water so far.

Oh yes, I really, really enjoyed the cheesecake and strawberries (but didn't finish them and ate really, really slowly)! I'm feeling good today despite a late night. Today I've had two slices of toast, one with jam, one with marmalade (all homemade) and a cherry tomato. Lunch is sat next to me but I'm not hungry yet - today it's a cheese and cucumber sandwich on homemade bread, a couple more cherry tomatoes and an apple but I'm sure half the sandwich will be enough.

Having a stressful day at work so feel like a huge piece of chocolate - and that's not like me - I don't normally bother too much about chocolate!! Couldn't eat breakfast - have had a couscous salad for lunch and a muller light yogurt. Will go for a long walk this evening and sort my head out!!! Will post tomorrow Anne xx

LOL, mjm, at least 152.5 calories are better than nothing - and you can always make it up by doing it ten times a day!
anne105, it's good that your keeping in touch even though it's not going brilliantly.
I think my body might have gotten used to me eating less and I'm going to have to cut back further. I don't think I'm being mindful enough, and I think my eating has speeded up a bit, so I am slightly falling back into bad habits. I'm not overeating as such, but I could probably manage on a little bit less. Did stop at one glass of wine last night, then went onto water, and I am still doing without my late afternoon snack - I'm typing on here instead.
Today I've had a fruit smoothie followed by bran flakes with soya milk for breakfast, a wholemeal pastrami sandwich and a banana for lunch plus two squares of very dark chocolate, and several cups of tea throughout the day. Tonight I'll have a steak stir fry followed by a probiotic yoghurt for dinner with, perhaps, a glass of red wine, then decaffeinated coffee and another couple of squares of chocolate before bed.

Well you all sound as if you're eating very healthy! I'll spoil that now... I had shredded wheat and soya milk for breakfast - I find that really fills me up and I don't wnat toast. Its been a busy working day and lunch was a cheese sandwich eaten while travelling - not ideal, but the only chance I had. I did eat it slowly. got home to find d. had made brownies - had a small piece, but then stopped and also refused the biscuits on offer at the meeting I went to, so the eating is much more under control. Will try to make sure we have a healthy tea.
Various commitments for work mean I haven't swum this week and I'm missing that - won't manage it tomorrow either.
Shame about the calories mjm. I used my lateral thigh trainer yesterday, but only managed 5 minutes - it made my back hurt which, I remembered, is why I put it away before. I've been trying to have a few days without any pain killers, but am very conscious of aches and pains everywhere - ankles, elbows, wrists, so am feeling sorry for myself - but at least I haven't found consolation in eating, which is a bit more cheering. Think I'll be back on the anti-inflammatories tonight though!

Hi girls, yes there are some nice food ideas, I havent tried couscous or soya milk before, I have just discovered hummous, which is really nice tho.
Christina, Im glad your feeling good today, did you finish off that sandwich?
Anne, how are you feeling now, less stressed I hope, enjoy your walk tonight.
Sella_Vee, are you trying to kill me off altogether, I managed 25 mins tho today, that was 200 cals.
If you feel like you have "stuck" abit Sella_Vee, you might be right, you might have to really listen to your ful signal again and slow it down a bit more, good for you tho recognising this before its too late. Does that very dark chocolate not have you climbing the walls if you eat it at night??
Val you sound like your doing brilliantly where your food control is concerned, its such a "pain", when you cant get your ususl exercise in, so frustrating, its a pitty about the stepper too isnt it. Keep your chin up, and well done you for staying positive.

Well done SL. No, mjm, the caffeine in the dark chocolate doesn't seem to bother me (I only have two squares) but I only have "proper" coffe in the mornings these days.
I do have periods of insomnia but I think that's more to do with having lots on my mind.

Hi SL, your lunch does sound lovely, what are you going to snack on?
Sella, if I drank more than one coffee a day, I would feel like I have been plugged into the national grid!
What do you have on your mind? do you want to share??
I only REALLY enjoy my cappuccino first thing, that just seems to fix me up for the day.
I have just had a slice of cold chicken and prawn and pasta salad, left over from last night.

And I've had salad nicoise - as a result of not planning the meal. I remembered I had new pots and french beans in the fridge and tuna in the cupboard - it's one of my favourite dishes, so that was lucky!
Sella I hate it when stuff churns round in my head at night - sometimes it's better to get up and do something! the other day I tidied the sitting room at about 3.30 am, then went back to sleep and slept soundly.

mjm, I don't know quite what to say to that...the combination of thong and gun - irresistible? resistable? Decisions, decisions....
