Is it too late to join your slimming club. I obviously wasn't around when you first started.
Do you have diet sheets and advice. I like the idea of doing it in a team.

Could I please join. I would be grateful if you could send me ANYTHING I need to know.

I dont know about you but I am ow desperate to lose a lot of weight. I made myself a promise that this year when I go on holidays I will have lost two stone. It hasn't worked. I obviously need the encouragement you give to each other.
thank you

Great post mjm - and so true - better to lose a pound a week and do it gradually. Also, thinking of the pound that you would like to lose in the coming week is much more manageable than thinking about the total amount of weight that you need to lose.

Honey - you have my sympathy - my OH snores as well!

Thats the spirit Spanish!!, I hope you feel much better now.

Not long back from my bike ride with OH, and we had a wonderful time, 12 miles along The Dee Side Way we went, the weather was good to us too, we had a little picnic which was great.

I am pleased to say I am a lot fitter than OH is, he will be nursing his Dingle Dangle for a while I think, I hope he doesnt need my assistance!!

Hi Patdock, if you read the "FLABULESS FORUMERS, To Clarify " thread, not sure what page its on now, maybe 4 or 5, it will give you all the info you need.

Valaber, what are you like? luckily he wasnt in the loo his normal 2 hours, so we set off sharper than I thought.

Hi all the bit at a time sounds great, I am so worn out at the moment, hope to find some oomph to get going again. Spanish lady really feel for you, Thankfully, I don't get hangovers.

MJM, I will be able to weigh myself on Monday as we have had to cancel our trip as my OH has been advised it is unsafe for him to travel. His undergoing further tests and waiting for a transfusion, once it is deemed safe for him to have one.

Valaber, hope your knee is better soon,

Happy chipping away everyone!

Bally I'm so sorry about your holiday - a disappointment anyway, but even more so given the reason for cancelling. I hope you and your OH will be able to pamper yourselves a bit anyway, and that he will soon be well enough for the transfusion.

My love and prayers go with you.
