DAY 48,........ Bit By Bit.
      #116483 - 17/05/2008 09:07

Good morning girls, its a lovely morning here today. My OH and I are going on a bike ride this morning, it was going to be tomorrow, but not going to take any chances with the weather.

If you just keep moving, the finish line will show up sooner or later.

The world record holder for the 1,000-mile endurence run and a physical mastery "guru" was asked, how he had geared up mentally, for the equivalent of nearly 40 continuous marathons.

He had replied:

"I never ran 1,000 miles- I cant even conceive of runny 1,000 miles. All I did was run 1 mile a thousand times"

Do you believe you could lose one pound this week, by continuing to eat when you are hungry and stopping when you are full?

If you can, congratulations- you WILL reach your goal!

Good luck with the weekend girls, I hope you are doing something nice, and moving your body just that little bit more, "remember step by step".

What a fabulous post. Loved the bit about the thousand miles.
Have a lovely bike ride, I am glad you are having nice weather, the weather here in Cornwall is damp and grey. I have just taken a turn around the garden (it did not take long, its a very small garden!) and because of the damp weather the slugs have had a field day with my hollyhocks! I am now feeling quite murderous and decidely grumpy. OH went out with the boys last night, came home and snored all night, in fact he is still in bed snoring and I am getting even more grumpy and this time not with the slugs!

Anyway I will go now and have a nice fresh fruit salad and some yoghurt and try to think calming thoughts! ( I really do prefer waking up with PMK)

Happy days guys,
Honeybunny.

CAAAALLLLLLMMMMMM,

Honey I cant believe for one minute that you prefer waking up with PMK rather than your hunk on a rope!!

I know who I would choose!!

Honeybunny, you have my sympathy - my OH does the kind of snoring that you get in cartoons - you know, where the drawers slide in and out? Now ES is away from home, he spends a lot of nights sleeping in that bedroom - his own choice, because he could see how exhausted I was getting as I'm a very light sleeper. He said he got tired of me poking him in the ribs! (if you get desperate, it's a useful technique!)

MJM, I like this post very much - it's what I keep trying to tell myself - a pound a week will add up, won't it.

Today I'm wearing a jersey tunic that I bought by mail order several months ago. It's quite clinging and I thought it looked dreadful, but never got around to sending it back - partly because I love the colour - the same blue as my eyes. I'm weaing it today and the bulges are definitely much less - I look quite trim, so the exercise is obviously doing good.

Enjoy your bike ride and he lovely weather - we've got the same as you honeybunny, but perhaps it'll cheer up later.

What a boost Val.

Its the best part for me too, getting back into clothes that you never thought would see the light of day again.

Well done you, getting trimmer, looking and feeling fab.

Err yes, I have calmed down, instead of thinking of ways to murder him and dispose of the body under the patio, I have moved on to think of slow excruiciating torture, like taking the fuse out of the TV plug. It is the FA cup today!!

Oh Spanishlady,
I was once where you are now, woke up with very very bad head, dry mouth, furry teeth and felt so sick. All day I hovered in that shadowey place between life and death. In fact I hope OH is there now but I hope you feel much better soon. For him, I would wish a long and protracted visit!!!!!

Morning mjm, just up indeed!!!

I'm going to move from the computer chair to the settee and back again for most of the day today.

Is OH trying to stop his bum looking bigger than yours? Is that why he is taking forever to get ready?
