Try saying that quickly seven times......after three 'blossoms up!!!' Anyway.....it is true....and we had our own Forum 'bride to be' Marygail blossoming with us! and glowing with happiness (Well you are Gail!).And we had two lovely ladies from Herefordshire ....Bel and Bronda and myself.Bel and Bronda feel a bit out on a limb over there. Isn't there anyone else over towards Wales who wants to join in? We had a lovely Lunch and talked...and talked.....and etc.etc. etc. Got on together like the proverbial House on Fire and will certainly be doing it again . Thanks girls for making it such a happy time.

Hi Mayday
I love in Wales too, but down in South Wales. Bit too far away from you or I would have jumped at the chance of joining you for lunch. I cannot find a supper club anywhere near us either. When I lived in Somerset I used to have a dinner party at least twice a month, and go to one at least once or twice a month. I dont think the people down here do that. Shame
Happy lunching.

Glad you had a lovely lunch - maybe one of these days (when I retire?) I'll be able to join you and make a day out of it. I get as far as Hereford quite often, but Ledbury's just that bit far for lunch on a working day.
Whereabouts are you in South Wales patdock? I'm near Abergavenny...

Hi Valaber Bronda and myself are thinking of meeting in Hereford, maybe we could meet up?
At the moment I live between Knighton/Presteigne, the Marches, borders of Herefordshire/Shropshire/Wales. Nearest towns are Ludlow/Leominster.
Anyone else in the area. Thanks for starting the thread Mayday, we Ladies who lunch, He He, never give up on the quest to widen the hunt for more forumers to have coffee/breakfast/lunch etc etc with.

How Lovely, you lucky, lovely lively ladies lunching leisurely in Ledbury. Did you linger longingly with a lemonade, or a lager?? I long to join you, but you are too far away from this lively lass that likes lunching!!

As one of the Lively Ladies who lunched in Ledbury yesterday and had a great time, I think the rest of you should be aware that we are probably banned from ever returning to the very nice Country Hotel where we met! Not only did the conversation touch on a range of slightly delicate topics in full earshot of half the very elegant dining room but Mayday fished out a Tupperware box of Birthday cake as we had coffee!! Goodness knows what the lovely young waiter thought, but I decided 'what the heck' and asked for side plates, duly supplied!! We had a great time, don't you wish you were there!

Surely not Gail? We definitely added to the ambience.....didn't we? Sorry about the birthday cake! I should have had it in a more discreet container...But Head Girl insists on us using Tupperware! Isn't that right Head Girl? I think they were quite amused really and we added to their 'covers'. We did have a good time tho' didn't we...and all on mineral water.....yes really! No 'Blossom drunks' in sight!

Great! How about you choose a date Valaber as you are the one with most comittment?(perhaps) Bronda is away now ...not sure how long for .Do you remember Bel? So pleased you can get to Newent too....I was not sure how far that would be for you. I am away May 28th to June 11th but you can go ahead without me if those are the preferred dates.

Only just read this thread as the computer was really slow last night and I'm only just catching up after having a lie in!
It sounds like you had a lovely time at your lunch. It's great when we can get to meet up with other forumers isn't it?
Thanks for letting me know where my Tupperware went. I'll have it back when you've finished. (Just leave a piece of birthday cake in it!)
Can't wait to meet up with some of you in York.
