Cathy, the feelgood factor has certainly been restored and long may it last. Its lovely to see everyone sharing and supporting all the good and sad things that have been happening. I do think people have opened up more but I think that is down to noone feeling out of it or excluded. xx

I think you're right chattycathy. I think the forum seems happier - more relaxed. Everyone seems to be joining in without anyone feeling excluded. It's a good place to be!

It's been a reallly nice mix of serious and lighthearted topics, with people expressing different views but no-one getting uptight about the fact that we don't agree - much more respect for our differences and for each other's opinions. I really like that.

I agree valaber - everyone seems to be feeling free to post on any topic and agreeing to disagree, if that is the case, rather than getting upset. Much more 'comfortable', if I can put it like that.

I think it's been so much nicer and supportive on the forum too, and I wish I could join you all in York.
This picture doesn't apply here exactly but someone just sent it to me and I thought you might like it.

I can't figure out how to make the picture big enough to read the writing but here's what it says:
"This is a picture from an article called the Rescuing Hug. The article details the first week of life of a set of twins. Apparently, each were in their respective incubators and one was not expected to live. A hospital nurse fought against the hospital rules and placed the babies in one incubator. When they were placed together, the healthier of the two threw an arm over her sister in an endearing embrace. The smaller baby's heart rate stabilised and her temperature rose to normal. Let us not forget to embrace those whom we love."
I just loved the picture of the one little baby supporting the other and thought I'd post it here.

Hi Cathy and everyone. Coming in a bit late to this thread I'm afraid but I agree with you all. The forum is really nice at the moment. All the negativity seems to have faded away thank goodness, and no more comments of how things were so much better in the old days. There is a lovely positive, warm and caring vibe on the forum, and it's so nice to know that in times of need we are all here for each other. Thank you everyone for making the forum such a nice place to be. Lisa. xxx

Ladies,
If you are all as nice in person as the three friends I met last night then this forum is the happiest place to be. I felt as if I had known them for a while and the chat just flowed.
We do have our differences, but its all generally in good humour, and after all we live in a democracy, so if we cant say what we feel there would be no point in contributing to our forum.
I, for one, am so glad I joined the forum. Plasmo x

I´m so happy, and grateful, for all these wonderful ladies on this forum. I ave whined and moaned, and had tremendous support, I have laughed, I have felt touched and moved, I have read serious posts as well as hilarious ones, I have had serious issues of my own about family and about work, and less serious such as candle wax on tablecloths, recipes, and there is ALWAYS someone there. What a great place to be. thank you a buch of flowers to you all
