Is it just me who thinks that in recent days we all have opened up a little bit more on the forum...If so is it due to the recent sad posts that makes us realize we all have a common bond & all we want is to give support to anyone who needs it & gain support from anyone who is willing to give it...maybe it is just me thinking too much so I dont mind if you dont agree,Cathy X

Hi chattycathy I think you are right. There has also been less sniping and backbiting and talk about 'newbies' and 'oldies'.

I'm pleased to say it seems to be 'just as good as ever' as I can't comment too much about the atmosphere of the Forum on a day to week basis, as I just haven't had enough time to dip in quite as frequently as I used to/ But here I am catching up at the crack of dawn along with a few other early birds!
Have a lovely day Gemini and Foxie - like me, yours is in full swing already by the look of it!
(Still raining heavily here, grr.)

Yes chatty you are right. It's so nice to share isn't it, and we are all so comfortable with each other that it is easy to open up.
Have a great day everyone.

I'm feeling virtuous because I dd an hour's housework (much needed) before coming on the forum. I've just re-read Perry's "Happy" thread, a Pm from Psyche who is bravely venturing to Wales and we're going to meet for coffee next week, and now I'm starting the day with a big smile on my face. what could be better? Morming Cathy and good morning all you other girls. I agree there is a lovely atmosphere spinning around, and its wonderful that we feel we can share so much between us all, some bad, some sad, some good and some happy. I think it helps to balance out life espeicially if you are not in a position to socialise as much as you would like to. Thanks again for all the lovely messages:Re;My grandson,he did put his own thank-you on towards the end,and his friend who came to tea thought it was great. Hope you all have a great day. It's wet here, but hey we can't control the weather, can we.

Morning Everyone, It is a lovely place to be at the moment with our circle of friends.
I am so looking forward to this evening as I am attending my first supper club with some of the ladies in Lichfield, it will be lovely to meet the ladies, that up till now have only read their thoughts and opinions. It will be lovely to talk to them in person.
Hope you all have a happy day. Plasmo x

Hi Cathy...I totally agree with you, there is just such a lovely warm feeling on here at the moment. I think it's because despite times when our individual opinions differ on some subjects when the chips are really down and someone needs help and support or when someone wants to share good news we are all united...like I said yesterday, it's a kind of sisterhood.
By the way I went on youtube last night and saw more of Sara's work. Tears to the eyes again!!! I loved her poem about night time and saw her lovely blog where she shows her litle tiger to the screen. She is so talented and beautiful.

Hi Everyone Sorry don't get much time to post but do nip in an out of the forum when I can and I think we are all so different and yet have many things in common - it really makes me realise there are some lovely people out there - not everyone is like the ones we read about in the paper and see on the tv. Stockport and Sale supper club were out 'on the tiles' again last night and we had a really good laugh, again lovely ladies from the forum. Jud

Hello girls
I am a fairly new member, but even I have noticed that in the last couple of weeks ' normal ' people have been sending messages. I guess we were there all the time. Just didn't want to open up. We can learn a lot from each other. Let us keep it up. Weather dreadful here. I was just beginning to get a little suntan when it rained !!
