Well done everyone, and especially Fiona M and MJM - you deserve it MJM, for all your hard work. and welcome to AlexP and Happyjan!

Have to say I feel a lot better about both food and exercise - just back from swimming and having a quick dip into the forum before starting work.

Keep going with PMK everyone - the rules really do seem to help!

(But not too thin - I like the comment below...it's so true!)

Hi MJM,

Congratulations MJM and everyone who lost, stayed the same or who may not have lost this time, but is still going for it and feeling generally great, looking forward to the next round of results!

Sorry, I am so late and have not been around much, I stayed the same this time. Which I am really pleased and shocked about, as I have not exercised, been on the forum or listened to the great man. I know I am not drinking enough though, as feel slightly bloated.

My hubby is not well at the moment and is now under another consultant and will be undergoing more tests! Its his 40th today and we are off to Rome next Friday, yet he is so weak. Normally, when I am stressed, I seek comfort by picking, but, I am finding, I can no longer do that now, so thats good.

MJM I am away for the next weigh in, do I weigh myself, when I leave? I could weigh myself on the Thursday, we leave or the Thursday I return, or just leave it, until the next one?????

Good luck for the next one everyone!

Thanks Sally & Chrissi,

I don't know Sal, he has a hb of 7.5, they don't know what is going on, hopefully the tests and scans will show something. He hasn't any obvious signs of bleeding, as a nurse I can't make out what is going on, our GP is great and is totally bewildered at the moment. As a nurse I cope with anything, but its different, as the person I'm caring for is my partner and is normally my rock!

Hi mjm and all. Sorry, not been near the computer all weekend and yesterday was a holiday over here. But I've got by book and read most of it and here's my (quite shocking to me) starting weight:
11 Stone 1 lb . I "started" at the weekend and am still in shock from a coaching session at the gym (they do them 3 months after joining and 6 months after that - this was my first) after being told my body fat is over 36% - way too much, although I eat relatively healthily. Help! Anyway, good luck to us all and well done to all of you for doing so well so far.

Morning girls and well done. Extra big well done to our leader, mjm, who has lost a whopping 4lb. I'm interested to note that lots of us have lost 1lb this time . I don't mind the weight loss slowing down, as long as the weight is going down. (I'm a poet, dontcha know it).

Bally67, I've been feeling bloated too. I didn't know it was because I wasn't drinking enough - I thought I was drinking loads - I'm obviously drinking the wrong stuff. I'll need to turn my wine into water. Sorry to hear about your OH, and I hope you find out what's wrong with him soon. I often think it's worse for us, when someone we love is ill, than it is when we ourselves aren't well. Keep strong, we are all thinking of you. Wish him a Happy Birthday from me.

Valaber, I love the message at the bottom of your post - so true. I want to be slim not skinny. Fat chance

I have to say I am really pleased to have lost 4 lbs, it must have been my 2 trampett sessions!!, I have been really good too tho, so thanks soooo much for your support, I wouldnt have been able to have done it without you.

Bally sooo sorry to hear about you husband. I have PMd you about your next weigh in. Hope the holiday does you both the world of good.

Here is to the next 2 weeks girls, its lovely to have 3 new starters, so it will be great to get feed back from you on how you are doing, that feeling of getting back in control of your food, is wonderful isnt it girls??

Hi Bally, so sorry to hear about your OH. Hope the trip to Rome does you both good and that you get some good news from the new consultant.

I am working at home today and I want, I so want to pick, but there are no longer any biscuits in the house and anyway I'm not really hungry. So I am going to have another cup of coffee, finish what I am working on,and then go and listen to PMK and try to decide what it is I really want. (I have a feeling it's the sea-side, but I can't do much about that today!)

I AM NOT GOING TO EAT BREAD AND BUTTER BECAUSE I AM NOT HUNGRY!!!!!I AM NOT, I AM NOT, I AM NOT, SO THERE!!!!!!!!

Thank you for that. I feel much better now!

Hi Bally,

Hope that your husband's health improves. Have a lovely relaxing "me" time for both of you in Rome.

Well done everybody still here, as Mr Grace would say in "Are you being served" - You're all doing very well!

Gem x

It's really to avoid writing my Y10 reports so who am I kidding? Sorry to hear your beloved is so unwell, but things often feel better in the sun. Enjoy!

Hi Everyone, Congratulations particularly to mjm and Fiona M, what stars! If you haven't lost or have gained don't be disheartened, just give it an extra push over the next couple of weeks and try to listen to your CD more. (I for one haven't listened nearly enough and it makes so much diffrence when I do.)

Bally, I really hope your OH feels better soon, I'm sure a nice holiday will do him good. Sending you both much love and best wishes. Lisa. x
