Hi I'd be interested in coming along to the next supperclub meeting - I can't make this one - hopefully you are still open to new members. Have a great time tomorrow and hopefully I can come along next time if you've space.

Thanks

Any or all of the above sound good to me Txp. And I do have a picnic basket big enough to hide a body in (should the need ever arise)!

Hi. This club seems to be expanding. All great news - but as one of the original first 3 founder members I am curious as to the whereabouts of the other two of the first meeting. So Swansong and Amethyist (sp) - where and how are you. G

GOMH

I have asked the same question, Swansong was unable to come, but I heard nothing from Amethyst even after pm ing her. At the evening before last I was asked to arrange the next venue, and so have seemed to be the entertainment member of the warks supper club.
I'm not stepping on toes and have relly enjoyed meeting all.
The idea of Jules45 picnic hamper sounds great maybe we can get to have a picnic if, when we get a summer.

So Warks supper clubbers a pub meet I think.

Any ideas anybody got a favourite pub, let me know.

best wishes to you all

txp

Hi there,

I would be interested in joining the Warwickshire supper club. I live in Solihull and I have only just joined the forum. Would it be possible to join you at your next event.

Aries

Hiya. Swansong here. Good to see you haven't disappeared GOMH, was wondering how you were, and also glad to see that you jules went to the last meeting, sorry to have missed you. In fact sorry missed you all. I know that Amethyst is still on the scene, but busy and challenged much as myself.

My father died (expected) then I had pleurisy and probably won't be at the next one either because, wait for it! Going to a remote Greek island in the Aegean (on my own!) for three weeks in June. Just call me Shirley, not...

Yep - I was one of the founding members, one of three pioneering women who met on a dark January or February night outside M&S then as intrepid supper clubbers who didn't know one another, on to an Italian restaurant in L. Spa with the irritable waiter amidst swirling plates of pasta remember?

In fact ladies I was I think the founder member inasmuch I convened the first call out at the beginning of this year, but my guess is that there had been lots of ladies wanting and trying to initiate a supper club in these areas for some time and it is sooooo good to see it has happened.

So my dearies, if you don't see or hear from me until the beginning of July you now know why. I would love to see GOMH and jules again and all you others. I dont know pubs and restaurants outside my own area really, but one suggestion on recommendation would be The Waterman on the A34 up a big hill in the Hatton area.

C U all I hope in a few weeks. X

ps. I am one of the Liz's in the Solihull area.
