Does anyone know a natural remedy for warts / verrucas? I've got both, and more than my fair share too, and for a long time. Ive tried many many things (thuja and lemon type liquid from USA, freezing them from GP, covering with duct tape, over the counter remedies from chemist and most recently olive leaf extract from nutritionalist) all to no avail. Im fed up with them, especially now weather getting nice and wearing sandals again. Any suggestions?

I used to put a bananna skin in my daughters sock when she was little and it worked every time. See link below. Good luck

Only thing I've tried is the inside of a banana skin on my daughters' verruca (saw it on This Morning, I think?). It did indeed disappear soon after, but who knows whether it was the banana or if it's time was up anyway?
May be worth a go. You'll be getting one of your 5-a-day into the bargain!

A mix of Lemon and Teatree essential oils is effective, or even just teatree. I sell essential oils and we blend lemon and teatree for wholesale customers who supply podiatrists.

Sounds wierd I know but it worked - Break a dandelion flower off just below the head and wipe the milky substance that comes out over the wart. The wart disappeared quite quickly!!

I remember using teatree oil to get rid of warts when my younger son was a child. I think you have to be careful though and dilute it a bit.

I've used fresh onion slice rubbed on wart, and, also, a salt-based toothpaste put on wart and covered with clingfilm each night...

Cider vinegar! It smells awful, but it does work. I have heard of the dandelion juice as well. I looked up a whole load of remedies on the internet. There are some strange and wonderful things, I can tell you...!

I had two verrucas for years and years which I think I collected from the leisure centre whilst being run down following chicken pox - being in my thirties at the time!!
At the time I changed my diet to include pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds and more fruit and the verrucas just disappeared! I think my immune system needed a boost.
Not sure if they would have gone anyway but thought I would mention it.

I can't recommend any natural remedies. I would buy Wartner and just keep using it until they go.Thats what i did. At one time i had over 10 warts on my hands, now i have none.
