DAY 41,............A Platinum Rule.
      #112888 - 10/05/2008 09:02

Good morning girls, so far it looks like its going to be another lovely day, I dont know how long for tho.

"Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.

We are always willing to take more abuse from ourselves than we ever would from someone else, how many times have told yourself "Your fat", "Yuk"?, I know I have.

How would you feel if someone else said that to you?

Would you feel insulted?

Upset and hurt?

Of course you would, I would, so why do we allow ourselves to be rude about the way we look, why do we treat ourselves like this?

There is one very important rule when it comes to how you treat yourself:

Do UnTo Yourself As You Would Have Others Do Unto You.

If you treat yourself better, then other people will ALSO treat you better.

Ask yourself: How do I take better care of myself right now??

And do it!!

2 days until weigh in, make them count for you.

God luck for the weekend girls.

Blummin great, its taken me ages to get motivated enough to bring my trampett down and dust it off, and guess what....

The blummin farmer decides that today is the day he needs to roll the field, right infront of the house.

I dont fancy his gawkin in at me bounging up and down, so I will have to wait now until he has finished, blummin, blummin, blummin!!!!

Thanks mjm that's a very good point you make. I am certainly guilty of being rude to myself. And of course I can't blame anyone else for my weight gain (although I do try to blame OH whenever possible).

Hope you manage to get on your trampett - where do you get all your energy from?????

Weather isn't looking too promising here in Cheshire, in fact it's trying to rain. OH will be pleased as it gives him an excuse NOT to mow the lawn!

Hi there Cat, just fininshed 45 mins on my trampett, I hope I didnt cause any earthquakes!!, I am really glad I got off my backside and done it.

I do my trampetting to Cher, (it lasts exactly 45 mins) its got a really good beat, perfect for jumping up and down. I just hope I can walk tonight and tomorrow, because I havent been on it for about a year and a half.

We have got hazy sunshine Cat, and its about 17 degrees, so not bad at all.

now stop being rude to yourself, and be nice to yourself right now.

I think this is very true.

I'm having a hungry day today, but we're off swimming later.
I'm not optimistic about Monday's weigh in as I'm feeling a bit fat and bloated. Still as long as I don't put any weight on I'll be happy.

I can't go on a trampett as bits of me keep bouncing after most of me has stopped.

Sella_Vee, you are so funny, I have to wear a sports bra, which does the trick.

Little and often Sella-vee, go grazing if you feel hungry all the time. Enjoy your swim.

No sign of Honey is there, wonder what she is up to!!!

I love my d's trampoline - tho'she gets embarrassed n case anyone sees me on it! Must get it put up now weather is fine.

So glad I came on here - bought some Welsh cakes on the way home today and really enjoyed eating one - I was desperately trying not to have a second one (No, I'm not hungry!) and now I will put the packet away and concentrate on feeling good - perhaps a bit of gardening is called for.

Have a lovely day everyone.

Valaber dont do yourself an injury now, the last time I went on a trampoline was at Perrys house, I did my back in, and couldnt move for the rest of the fortnight.

Glad you enjoyed your Welsh cake, and have a lovely time in your garden, Im off to bed in a mo, the sun has gone in here now, so thats fine by me.

Prepare to be impressed. I did 40 lengths at the swimming pool, which is one whole kilometre. When I got home I thought I was starving but in fact after a little chat with myself it turned out I was thirsty! And I drank mineral water tonight instead of wine.

I'll have to watch out in case my halo slips down and chokes me.

wow I am impressed a kilometre thats a lot of water, well done how long did it take??
I did a lot of walking yesterday but last evening I also eat loads and we drank three bottles of wine between three of us but I think I had the lions share , feeling a bit iffy this morning ,maybe a swim and IŽll feel better.
Our weather is not great at the moment I think all the good weather is over Northern Europe . WE might BBQ and tonight we are taking our niece to an Irish pub to hear some music and have a pint or two , I think it`ll be shandy for me
