Good morning girls, its another sunny day, arent we lucky?, I think its back to normal at the weekend for us tho.
Is it me or has this week flown by?, its Friday again already!, and that means there is only 4 days to weigh in day.
"There isnt enough cookies in the world to make you feel loved and whole"
The main reason people eat when their not hungry is to fill an emotional gap.
Its important to tune into your feelings to be able to tell if it emotonal hunger your feeling or the physical hunger.
Here are 2 key things to pay attention to:
1. Emotional hunger comes on suddenly and its urgent, physical hunger come on slowly and quietly.
2. Emotional hunger can not be satisfied with food, where as physical hunger can.
If you find yourself eating quickly and urgently wothout feeling full and satisfied, you probably dont need more food- you need love.
Throughout the day today, I want you to send yourself love at least once an hour, and see if you notice a positive difference in your feelings.
I am off for my walk again this morning girls, really looking forward to it.
Good luck for today, and the weekend ahead, I hope the sun shines for you.
Thanks for all the wonderful feed back for yesterday.
Good luck Honey!!

Thanks MJM. It's grey and damp here (but with a promise 0f better weather for us tomorrow)
Your posts are really helpful and insightful.
I'm just back from my walk - I did my two miles again, much more confidently and in a slightly shorter time. I really appreciated all the supportive comments the other day!
I've also stopped parking the car as near as possible to the places I'm going to - the last couple of days I've parked at the far ends of carparks so I can walk the extra distance - something I used to do when I was younger, but have long since given up. I really notice the difference in my energy levels. My clothes don't feel any different and no-one has remarked on anything, so I'm not sure there's much loss to report, but I do feel physically tons better.
Your points about hunger are very interesting - I am beginning to enjoy feeling a slight sense of hunger; actually being hungry makes the food taste better!
Honeybunny, if you have time to check in today, I really hope you have a wonderful day!!! and all you guys - sorry guy-esses - have a good day.

Iam just back from my walk, and my face is scarlet, the weather is just glorious, I had every intention of biking over to my friends today instead of taking the car, it takes me about 15-20 minutes on my bike, so its not far really. I took the bike out and the tyre was almost flat, I did try to pump it up honest, but I think I would have had to have a lie down afterwards so I gave up, (I know, Im a light weight)
Well done Valaber with the walk, and its a great tip about parking further away from where you are going, I will do that today when I have to go into town.
Good idea Anne, love all round!
And as ever Spanishlady, you are awsome! I would love to see you dance, I hope the weather is better for you today.

I really, really wanted salt 'n' vinegar crisps this morning so just went out and got a packet. I've had four and I'm no longer sure I want them. For the first time ever they could be going into the bin (although think I'll leave them on my desk a bit longer first just in case). It's odd, I've started to feel thirsty rather than hungry in the last few days and I NEVER feel thirsty. I do seem to be re-learning the correct responses to food. I don't think I'm going to have lost anything when I weigh-in on Monday but still feel like I'm heading in the right direction. OH is out this evening so I'll hopefully have time to listen to the cd again.

PS the crisps hit the bin about 20 minutes after my last post and apart from a vague uneasiness about wasting food I've not missed them. YIPPEEE!

Well done, ChristinaB. Incredible isn't it. Maybe you need to get a dog to eat all the extra food.
I've been to the hairdressers today for a cut and colour. I let him take a bit extra off the length so I should weigh less on Monday and I'm loving my hair, mjm.

well its been quite a day I am knackered we danced for the Mayor did not make too many mistakes and if we did no one else knew !!!! I was asked to come into the Radio Station next weeek to do and interview in Spanish !!!!! about living and LOVING here. I am a bit nervous but what the heck I`ll do it anyway. went for a meal with family later and I only ate half poor SF got my leftovers ,I did drink most of the wine though. getting worried about the weigh in , I am sure I have not lost anything but even if I stay the same I will be happy .still got two days with the family so it is lots of eating and drinking !!

Hi ChristinaB and Sella_Vee,
I am pleased the crisps hit the bin after you were satisfied Christina, you really are listening to your signs arent you, well done you.
Thats a good tip with the hair cut, I never thought of that, maybe I will book myself an appointment and go bald, cos my hair would weigh at least a stone!!
I have been eating all day, "grazing" I think you call it, but I did go for my walk and park my car miles away from the shops today, like Valaber suggested, I have felt hungry, My belly was rumbling so I know it was for food, and not for LURVE!!
I wonder where Honey is???

You girls are really inspirational. I'm ashamed I did buy a packet of salt and vinegar crisps today and ate them all. (It was only a little packet - I have been known to eat one of the big ones, so maybe it's a start!)
I'm dying to know - how do you give "love" to yourself and is it legal!!!

Hi mjm, i've only had a passing interest in your posts until yesterday and again today. I go to WW and so did not join in the various slimming groups on the forum but I've decided to go back to day 1 of your Words of Wisdom. They are inspirational and I just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to post them every day.
HeadGirl here's some love to share
