Ooooh. You're brave!!!! I use cream myself - less painful!!!

One question. You know the beautician is supposed to hold your skin taut for bikini line, legs, etc - where does she put her hand?

Never been there, knowing my luck I would end up looking like a plucked chicken., and would have to hide for a fortnight, and by then it would have all grown back!!!, so NO NO NO

I didn't have a brazilian just a 'good' bikini wax. Did it hurt - well it made my eyes water and I uttered some expletive! Next time I just gritted my teeth!
In winter I just use a razor.

I just get the bikini line done which is bad enough. But....a friend recommended putting Emla cream on the area to be waxed 30 mins beforehand, as it numbs the skin a bit, and it definitely takes the edge off the pain!

You can buy Emla cream at any chemist. Don't know about using it on more sensitive parts though?

2 ibuprofen and a double gin half an hour beforehand. And get someone else to drive. It's what I do for a bikini wax.

Does it hurt? Don't know after that lot

Having shaved bikini line and waxed, I think the re-growth is worse after shaving, so will stick with my waxing - only do it about 3 times a year, so can cope with that, just!

Haven't had the Full Monty just a normal wax and it's agony! Would still do it again though if I could find someone who would do it with their eyes shut so she wouldn't have to look at my podgy body! On the same subject, does anyone have trouble shaving down there? No matter what I do, I get a rash, so have to rely on Immac etc. Any tips and tricks ladies?

I get a rash with Immac too - it's an absolute nightmare!

Can anyone suggest a way to avoid rashes?
