Fife Walking Club (A Call to Arms)
      #109055 - 01/05/2008 16:08

I propose Saturday 17th May for our next meet, 10.30 again?
Now come on you lot and regale me with lots of suggestions re. prefered destinations. My knowledge of Fife walks is poor given that I don't hail from this part of the country. All suggestions welcome. (but keep them clean)

Jammie

Hi Jammie. Count me in. I still like the Aberdour walk but otherwise how about another part of the coastal walk or even Beveridge Park in Kirkcaldy. There's also a walk just past Beveridge Park off the road to Auchertool which is signposted but which I've never walked - would probably have to reccy it first to find out what it's like.

Hi Jammie,

Lochore Meadows Country Park is a possibility.

Hi girls, thanks for those suggestions. I'll wait until we've heard from everyone else and put it to the vote.
Keep walking!

Hi everyone
East Wemyss to Dysart is lovely or Leven to Lower Largo....
Both have refreshments at either end!

I liked the sound of the Loch Leven walk. There's a lovely farmshop/restaurant at the end of it. The three things I like most of all, walking, good food and shopping, all rolled into one day. Of course this may take more time than everyone wishes to spend. Which begs the question, how long is too long?

Hi Dulcie, welcome to Fife Walking Club. I'd be glad to count you in on the 17th as will everyone I'm sure. Do you have a particular preference for where you'd like to walk? All suggestions are very welcome.

Jammie

Hi everyone, time's moving on and need to choose our destination. So could you all vote on it and let me know your preference between:
Aberdour(Daffodil Walk)
Beveridge Park to Auchtertool
East Wemyss to Dysart
Kinross to Loch Leven
Leven to Lower Largo
Lochore Meadows
Either post on this thread or PM me. We'll go with the majority decision.

Hi Everyone,

I do not really mind where we walk. Kinross to Loch Leven would be my choice if we must vote. Could someone please PM me as I am still having trouble opening some pages on the W&H site (it takes ages). Thank you.

Hope to meet you all on Saturday.

PS Dulcie,

I sent you a PM(private message) a few days ago, just struck me that maybe you don't know how to access. Just scroll up to the top of this page and click on Check Messages, from there you can access any PMs and send replies.
Hope you can make it tomorrow.

Jammie
