not sure never done it before , guess wait and see if there is any interest then arrange to meet ? maybe chat on line a little first ? . I work 3 days a week and would like to meet days evenings in the week , just interested in meeting new folks along with some good food

I live in Stafford and meet up with the Lichfield Supper /Lunch club. Not sure where DaisyD lives but if you arrange something let me know -i do work full time so would need to be evenings and possibly in Stone ? If you want to join us at Lichfield then I suggest you PM Spangle, she organises these events (both Lunches and Suppers). Ann1212

Hi I am fine for evening ( any week night ) or lunch ( wednesday or friday ) and am free any time ( boring life ! ) in the next month or so . How about the first week in Feb in Stone maybe ?

hi how about Trentham Gardens for lunch Thursday 12th Feb - meet say 12 o'clock & have some lunch either in the garden centre or at one of the restauarants up there. Lloydy

New to all this forum stuff but picked up this thread. I live in Stafford and would be interested in meeting folk and eating food - or even just a drink. I work full time out of Stafford so could only do evenings and, reading through the thread it looks like the logistics of getting everyone into 1 place is proving to be a bit of a nightmare. Am not sure how this all works.....

Just pick a night and a location and i'd be up for it. Any thoughts on venue? Are we meeting for a drink or going somewhere for food as well (what with it being called a supper club!).
The Swan in Stafford is a relatively 'female' friendly place to meet if we're turning up on our own initially (unless it's a Friday)? Or there's the new Italian place on the Stone road - don't know if anyone's tried it yet?

A bit of advance notice seems to be required since it's not the most active forum is it!? I realise i'm at risk of butting in as a newcomer but if we don't set a date then this could take a long time. So what about Thursday 12th March. Meet at the Swan at 19.00 in Stafford and then maybe just stick to somewhere like Pizza Express for the first time (i.e. somewhere we won't have to book to get in). Does that appeal to anyone?

Thought i'd posted a reply but doesn't seem to be there - maybe it's just my technological incompetence! Anyway, i'll be there tomorrow - be nice if some other could make it too. Last time was a really good laugh and it was nice having no men around for a change.

Sorry you couldn't make it in the week.
We're looking to meet up in Stone next time. No date set yet but one of us will post it here. None of us seem to check the forum that often so we've been arranging via PM which has been quicker.
Not sure if the other ladies have picked your message up yet??? Be nice to see a new face - although since we've only met twice now we're still all relatively new faces!
