Hi PammyG, although i registered a while back, i only got round to posting yesterday 
we're on the outskirts of Corsham, on the Bath side. I found a supper club in Bath, and a reading group in corsham when going through old threads. Maybe we'll have to start a supperclub in Corsham if there isn't one.

Hi - Ive only just joined the Forum & live near Bath & BoA. Would love to join a Supper Club & maybe a Walking Group too. Love to know if you start anything in the area!

How about we just arrange to go out one night, towards the end of October - and start our own little group?
I don't really know anywhere though, any suggestions?

Nothing to do with supper clubs, but I saw Corsham in the subject line and thought I'd tell you this anecdote.
Many years ago, I used to be a van driver and had a delivery in Corsham which had to be ther for 8a.m.. Got there about 7.15 and told by the guy on the gate to come back at 8. went into the village to get a paper and had to stop to let 3 peacocks stroll across the road and then they promptly headed for the Vauxhall garage and proceeded to look through the showroom windows. Obviously couldn't decide between the astra and the vectra! Always makes me laugh as they just looked as if they had every right to stop the traffic (and they probably did).
Anyway, one of you get bold and set a date and a place and then you'll always be the one who got a supper club started. Happy eating/walking/reading.

I think we need to get going otherwise it will be Christmas before we know it!! We all seem to live fairly near - how about the Pear Tree Inn, Whitley Melksham - its on the Neston side of Melksham so could be quite convenient? Or is there anywhere in Corsham or does anyone have any other ideas?

Hi, there's a supper club that meets in Bath each month. We've met twice so far and will be getting together again in November. Keep an eye open for a post later in the month...

I think it would be great to me up soon and I like the idea of Melksham, I know there is a club in Bath but I would prefer not to go that far. Did you have a date in mind Marianzs, and is anyone else interested?

Hi Ladies, I am new (ish) to the area and would love to meet for a supper club but I am not the girl to organise the first as I am geographically challanged - come on girls, someone chose a venue date and time and I shall certainly be there holding my mag under my arm!
