HAMPSHIRE SOUTHAMPTON SUPPER CLUB WALK AND LUNCH PLANNED 2ND SEPTEMBER

Hi Ladies of Hampshire
We have slotted an extra meeting in this month:
A couple of us have planned to meet up on Tuesday 2nd September to walk the Southampton Walls, should take about an hour and we plan to have a light lunch afterwards.
Anybody who can make it will be made welcome - we are very friendly and like a giggle, so don't be shy.
We will meet at 11am at the Bargate, please let me know if you are interested, then I will pm the details etc.
Look forward to seeing everybody.

Hi,
I'm a newy to all this & after reading an article in w&h about supper clubs was keen to see if we had one in the area.
Just seen your posting for a walk and lunch next tue (2 of my favourite things!) and was hoping to come along.
Please can you give me some more details.

Hi Alison
Welcome to the forum. I have sent you a private message with more details of the walk on Tuesday. (Just click on the flashing envelope at the top of the page under user options)
Basically we will meet at the Bargate at 11am and set off to walk the walls - please remember how old and uneven the walls will be, so wear sensible footwear.
We will then have a light lunch and gossip at one of the Tearooms / coffee shops at the Bargate or East Street.
Looking forward to meeting you and any other newbies that would like to join us.

Hi I would have like to have come on the 2nd but the children go back to school on the 4th.My seventeen year old would have looked after my other two but I have an inset day on the 3rd and I have to work ,it might be pushing my luck asking him to babysit two days in a row I work mornings in a school hope to make another social event soon .

great idea a walk followed by lunch. I would have loved to come but am still away until the 4th. hopefully though you and some of your other Southampton ladies will be able to make it on the 17th at highcliffe castle so we can catch up on all the news.
