I have - er, mature skin. OK - ageing and dry. By accident, I discovered that a good slathering of - wait for it - Body Shop Hemp Hand cream, on clean facial skin, in the evening when I'm home (NOT when I'm about to get into bed imagine the gunk sludging off onto the pillow!) has a wonderful effect. It just soaks in and leaves my skin feeling great. |

If it works for you Toffeekit, then why not! I didn't know if hand cream might be a bit heavy for the face though? Bluebella |

If it works go for it Toffeekit, I suppose as long as you dont use it too often, have you tried face oil? I find it works really well on my mature skin! Clarins does a nice one. Woodentop |

Hi, Woodentop: I was at the Clarins' counter two days ago - see my rather irritated post about Debenhams' Beauty Bonus thingummy-whatsit - and wanted to try Orchid Oil - but they had none in stock. Do you think this means it's a great product and sells out quickly, or that the women in Middlesbrough haven't heard of it so they don't bother stocking it? |

Just read your mail about Debenhams, why do these shops offer services they cant carry through? We have a big Debenhams in Colchester, dont ever bother to go in there, as we have a much better department store which sells all that Debenhams sells and more, and the staff are much more pleasant to deal with. Do different Clarins counters in different parts of the country stock different things? I would be surprised if they didnt have the oil as it is really popular, could you get them to order one for you? Woodentop |

Thank you Desperatehousewife; I've used Neal's Yard Frankincense night cream previously but (apart from on-line) I can't find anyone relatively local who stocks NY products. I had been thinking of tracking them down again, anyway, so your post is an encouragement for me to try harder. |

Anyone in the UK who hasn,t tried ( or heard of !) Korres beauty products, I can highly recommend them. The face creams are fabulous, all natural ingredients, in fact all their products are good , including the makeup range, and they aren,t expensive. I hardly ever use anything else now. The firm was started by a Greek homeopath, and I think theyr,e widely stocked now throughout the UK. |
