Tummy Tuck Jeans

Hi Everyone,

I just came across some tummy tuck jeans, and I was just wondering if anyone had tried them, and if anyone has, do they really work?

They sound like a good idea, but are quite expensive, so I thought I'd get some opinions before I part with my money.

Thanks
Tracy x

here's a link to where I found the jeans for anyone who wants to take a look

Re: Tummy Tuck Jeans

hi tracy, i have friend who swears by them, but they only have a long leg length in the uk at the moment although in the usa they do a shorter one. i am 5' 3'' and loathe to pay a lot for them and then have to get half the legs cut off

Re: Tummy Tuck Jeans

I have three pairs and strongly recommend them. I was sceptical about the hype until I tried, but they really do do what they say. A great fit, make you look slimmer and better shape - and they're comfortable too. They are expensive, but well worth it, in my view. (I'm tall so the UK length is perfect for me).

I actually have the black with diamante trim style pictured on the site you mention. They are terrific and, dressed up or down, can take you almost anywhere.

Some websites which do them, such as Shapewise and Curvy Girl, also offer them at reduced prices during sales, etc. Shapewise may still have their offer on.

I believe they are cheaper in the US if you get a chance to buy them there.

Re: Tummy Tuck Jeans

Have a look at Gray & Osbournes clearance page they have some for just over £50 which seems better for giving them a try than over £100 - but I am Scottish.
I a waiting to see what size they recommend for me to buy.

Re: Tummy Tuck Jeans

Thanks for that suggestion. Had stopped looking at G and O as they seem to have become very frumpy now and have less choice. But had forgotten they do Tummy Tuck. Hope to order a pair, or even two, tomorrow. Thanks again!

Thanks for the advice ladies. I think I'm going to give them a try, and will take a look at Gray & Osbourne.

Re: Tummy Tuck Jeans

I have invested in 2 pairs over the last yr, and realy do consider them an investment - as they really make me feel good. Just bought a black velvet pair before Xmas - and got several complements about how much weight I had lost!

Enjoy wearing them.

Re: Tummy Tuck Jeans

Can I ask an awkward question?????
Do they not just push all the F.A.T. from your bottom! half...... up ?!
I'd hate to pay £100 and look like a doughnut

Re: Tummy Tuck Jeans

I bought two pairs of Tummy Tuck jeans when I was in New York last August, I paid about £40 pair, although the exchange rate has changed since then. They are fab, the most comfortable jeans I have ever worn and no, they don't push the fat up, they just kind of hold everything together but because they're really elastic it's like wearing a comfortable pair of leggings. If I was buying jeans from M&S I would be buying a size 12, the tummy tucks are a US size 4. The only slight problem is that I'm quite short, so had to have them taken up when I came home, but it was well worth it.

Yes, my experience is just the same as glasgowgirl's. Have found they actually push fat up less than other brands I've tried.

Re: Tummy Tuck Jeans

They are also known as 'Not Your Daughters Jeans' and I love them. I'm a jeans girl but have struggled to find jeans that fit my changing/aging shape. These hold you in without squeezing your abdominal organs.
And - because they are American-made - you go down 2 sizes. So, a 12 becomes an 8 - perfect!

I can't wait either! You are the same height as me but you are not a wee pudding. Let me know what you end up paying including postage etc, if you don't mind that is

Re: Tummy Tuck Jeans

Hi Biker Babe,

I'd be very interested too to see how you get on - I'm only 5'2" so assume I'd have to have some chopped off. Are they cheaper from the US than over here and do you have much postage & packing to pay? From your post it seems that they do a petit range - is that right?

Please let me know how they fit and where you got them from - might splash out myself

Not arrived yet ladies but costing just under £50 from US including postage. Yes they do a petite range but not seen it advertised anywhere here. Will keep you posted.

Re: Tummy Tuck Jeans

Can't wait to hear how you get on with them. As someone else said - be interested to know whether they push everything up (creating the old 'muffin-top') or just squash it all in.

You said you got them on ebay - did you have to bid for them or did you just buy them from a company (sorry to seem a bit 'dim', but never used ebay so not sure how it works )

Anyway, good luck with them - let us all know what you think.

Re: Tummy Tuck Jeans

Yes, they arrived yesterday and whilst I could have got away with a size smaller (I'm size 12 and 5'3") they are fine and very comfortable. Says they are butterwash, never heard of that before. Will now keep my eye out for the size 6 (US) in dark indigo!
Think they way they make your but look higher is that there is less material at the back just below your bum cheeks, if you know what I mean. Some jeans, even Levis, can look a wee bit baggy there after 1 days wear. These seem a better fit there so hopefully wont. Will need to wear heels with them though, but not too high.
