Eyebrow threading

Can someone tell me what this is, and is it worth it, and is it painful?

Not that i'm going to try it, I'm just curious.

Lovely lady.

Re: Eyebrow threading

Instead of using wax or tweezers they use cotton thread. It is a very good thing and they get better shape . It does not leave red marks like waxing and is nowhere near as painful.

Re: Eyebrow threading

I tried it once and found it was absolutely amazing although I do have to confess to finding it a little painful. Having said that I will definitely have it done again and recommend it over waxing, much better shape and seemed to last longer. Most of the Debenhams stores seem to offer it. Try it and let us know how you get on!

Re: Eyebrow threading

I tried it, and it was painful! Then, the bits that had been threaded and the surrounding area went bright red and stung. Took about 2 hours to go down, and I was wandering round town looking as if I had been in a fight!

Glad I didn't take her up on the offer to have my lip waxed

My sister recommended it and I gave my cousin a voucher from Christmas - I'm hooked - go for it!

Re: Eyebrow threading

I have had it done a couple of times, and although it is quick and precise, I found it quite painful, but it is over so quickly, and the shape is tons better.

I have really sensitive skin around my eye area, so any form of eyebrown treatment always leaves my skin really red for a while afterwards. Just bear that in mind if you decide to have this particular treatment.

Does anyone know where I can get my eyebrows threaded near St Albans?
