Well, we've admitted to what we couldn't live without but what beauty product or treatment have you never tried but would like to? Or used to use/have but don't now and would like to try again? I'd like a facial ... and a pedicure... |
maybe leg waxing , but as my hair is so fair never seems worth spending the money on it. |

I've had the facial and the pedicure and definately prefer the pedicure every time. Me- I'd like to try epilation to remove hair from my chin as this is really getting on my nerves and I have to pluck them daily. Anyone else out there also have this problem or am I alone? |
No, you aren't alone...unfortunately. |

I would like to try........... hot stone massage facial acupuncture full body massage a spa weekend with Miss F and my sister. They are all on my wish list! |
Ouch, some of that sounds painful but I like the idea of the massage and the spa weekend...hope your wishes come true! |

I have been having electrolysis on my chin for years to balance the 'I hate hair' versus suffering with polycystic ovaries. I would recommend it, don't pluck, it will make it worse. I would love to try laser treatment to banish my chin, legs, under-arms and bikini line hair forever! Any happy campers tried that?... |

Have always meant to get a facial but havent, started having the legs waxed and bikini line in may and have kept it up, get the eyebrows waxed aswell and tinted, so think will book a facial soon as a treat Cherryblossom PS Onceshy I have to pluck the odd hair out of the chin too, hate it I obsessively check my chin every day, the hairs are white too!! |
I love facials, pedicures and reflexology but haven't been for a while. I would love to try a hot stone massage and also get my eyebrows threaded. |
Oh my, what on earth is eyebrow threading, Cheshirecat? And, if I'm being honest, due to Polycystic ovaries I have to do more than pluck too...when my husband moans about shaving I just nod knowingly... |
Ashbee,(sorry Im not Cheshire Cat) I love having a pedicure, dont have them as much as I would like. Threading is an old Indian way of doing eyebrows. Its quick and precise, and the pain is bearable. The beautician has a thread wrapped around her fingers, and she works really quickly, thinning, and tidying your brows. The definition is far better than just ordinary plucking, or waxing. |

Well, you learn something new every day... must look out for that... |

What I would really like to try is a really fantastic hairstylist. I have fine hair and it needs to be cut well to look good. I would love to see what a really top notch professional could do for me. Would it make a big difference? I phoned to see how much it would cost to go to Andrew Barton. It was a stonking £430.00. Needless to say, I didn't go there for my haircut but I wonder if he could make my hair look fantastic. |

OH's niece was treated to a haircut in London somewhere and that cost £450 - how the heck can they justify that sort of price? It looked lovely though ... |

I have tried the hot stone massage but was really disappointed. The aromatherapy and Swedish are far more relaxing and I would recommend them to anyone. I am thinking of Laser eye treatment as I am fed up with glasses and contact lenses but not sure if brave enough! |
Ashbee I have always wanted to try......liposuction! I think it sounds great, I would lie there and all of my fat would be sucked into a jar. I am rubbish at self control and the thought of being svelte is very tempting. One problem .....cant stand pain! |

I've been having electrolysis for just over six months now.Morbid fear of being a 'Hairy Old Lady'. I started with an half hour session, but this has been reduced to 15 mins as it has been brought under control. Next session though will be 30 mins as I haven't been for a couple of weeks, now look like a Neanderthal!!!! I was told originally that it takes about four years to complete. Is this right or is it a permanent ongoing treatment. ![]() Something I would love to have is a full body massage and leg/bikini wax treatment. ![]() Oh well, one day, when my ship comes in!!

Oh gosh - this is so reassuring! Since the birth of my second son last September, I get awful hairs on my chin - which I have to pluck out every morning - I thought it was just me! I'd love to try some treatment (any treatment) to get rid of them permanently. I'm only 41 and they make me feel twice my age. I'd also like to try leg waxing, cause I'm sick of shaving my legs - thank God it'll be cold weather soon and I can leave them for a week. Tee hee. |

I'd love to try the facial acupuncture as the old face is starting to head southwards. Had my hair dyed today after letting it go grey for the last couple of years. The final straw was when someone thought I was my 40 years old sisters mother and I am only 44. Decided it was time to return to my more youthful looks. |

I would like to try lipo and a tummy tuck!!! After birth of S I have never got rid of my 'apron' and would love to have a normal tummy instead of this spare tyre still covered with stretch marks after nearly 10 years!!! I must tell you about a conversation I overheard one day about stretch marks, this really slim and attractive lady was telling another lady about the first time her new boyfriend had seen her stretch marks, he told her "It looks like you have had a fight with the esso tiger"!!!! Men, how little they know of our suffering!!! anyone know a good surgeon? dgt3 |
