I get all my boys stuff from Peacocks...they design most of there stuff on the top highstreet brands ...and you can shop online now I think....My 13 yr old is into Mens sizes..infact my 11 yr old is in some stuff...but jeans and T-shirts from £8 and £3 you cant go wrong....and not cheap looking stuff...fashion for the season and then charity shops...for that price you cant go wrong!!!
Happy shopping!!!!!...

Hi Lizalou!
Have a son same age, height and slim build. He loves the St George by Duffer range (and other designer brands) in Debenhams - when he's not wearing a football strip that is! I tend to stock up when the Blue Cross sale is on i.e. every other week, so doesn't work out too expensive, and he is happy!

TK Maxx, Primark have some great casual clothes, H&M.

TK Maxx sell discounted Quicksilver, Diesel, Nike etc. H&M good for jeans, shorts. Also large sports shops - Sportsworld etc sell more casual than sports clothes now and always seem to have sales

My stepson is 13 and very tall - he towers over me! I buy his clothes in Tesco, Primark and H&M. If your son is anything like my SS, 2 minutes after he's put it on he looks as if he's been on an army assault course so cheap, cheerful but fashionable is great and he's growing like a triffid so nothing lasts for long anyway!

Will he actually like what you buy? Afterall he is a teenager! My younger son used to be okay as he was a miser so had to put up with what I got him. Thank God those days are over!! He is still wearing stuff I bought him when he was 16 and is 26 now! Would definitely try Primark or H&M. Mind you, the sales are on in about a month.

My son is older now but a great place was matalan , they are great for all ages and not too bad if your on a budget. I agree with the other ladies about primark also. I would also say have him come with you shopping or give him the cash because at that age they tend to hate everything you choose x x x

We finally gave in and went to Top Shop again today. At least the jeans fitted, the T shirts werent too expensive and the swim shorts half the price of Freespirit. Tesco etc not an option, nor the sports shops, And , no, I dont dare buy anything now without him agreeing and trying on ( he is much bigger than I expect my little boy to be)

Topshop clothing is lovelly...it has to be said. I have to admit though, I always find a few stylish bargains in George, etc. I suppose you can't really go wrong. Actually, you guys might be interested in this new website that the company I work for is promoting; Myfaveshop. It's all about creating your own virtual shopping paradise...so you could find things for your sons and browse for yourselves on the side too! The fashion area even looks like a little boutique. My boss just started work for them so she asked me to check it out and I love it! It saves quite abit of time too...you can have a chat and comment about the brands you and others have on the 'shelves' They've got a good lot of designers on board including Mulberry and Kurt Geiger. They've also got topshop!! hehe...so you could check out a few things on the site instead of going all the way to the shops! Check it out anyway...just a suggestion.
