Hi everyone, I am feeling a little bit more positive today, and I am going to try to get back to pmk principles, and to listening to the CD. I've started off well with 25 mins on the exercise bike, and for breakfast I've had an orange as well as my oat cereal with soya milk. I am leaving the bread bin alone! I really need to work on this as I realised last night as I finished the marshmallows that I bought for my poor d. how easy it is to get back on the slippery slope..... So please help me girls! I don't have a particular target except to follow the golden rules.... |

Hi Chickadee, I just registered for these forums last night, I really need to get a grip! Half thought about going to the gym this morning, but too late now - maybe this evening. Am fed up with myself, have been having this weight battle for 13 years. I would like to know I am going to wake up a size 12 and just get on with all the other things I want/need to do with my life. |

Hi Everyone - I need to work on this as well. I have let things slide recently and am trying really hard to get back on track - the slippery slope was ready and waiting for me! Not sure what I can say to help anyone - other than: WE CAN DO IT! Let's try really hard to get back on track, keep on logging onto the forum and supporting each other and taking one day at a time. Wishing you all a good day. x |

Thanks for the welcome Ally. Good to know there are real live people out there. I want to lose quite a bit - don't quite know how it got to this stage! How often do you all weigh? Also, have a job, doing a degree, have an OH who is naturally thin, 3 daughters, one of whom is vegetarian, one of whom who is very very thin with poor eating habits (tho not anorexic thank god) and another daughter with a big appetite, but who dances and keeps her weight down that way. Also a future son-in-law who has to have gluten free. I am demented trying to feed them all and end up eating everybody elses leftovers as well as my own. Any tips gratefully received! |

Hello ladies! Welcome to anne18. Lord do you have fun cooking in your house!!! Get yourself the PMK book and CD, start reading and join in with the flabuless forumers. I joined late but I'm glad I didn't let that stop me - it's great to have people to talk to and get inspiration from, and there's lot of inspiration on here. I have a lot to lose but just keep plugging at it and if I have a bad day, well that's all it is - one day. Each day can be a new start - read the daily post and you'll see we all slip occasionally. AlexP you're so right - we can do it!

Hi again - mjm, sorry I put up a new post - I'd forgotten about the weighing results (wishful thinking perhaps). I've just been for a walk in the rain - to make up for the banana that I ate extra at lunchtime (after my poached egg and yoghurt!) because I desperately wanted something sweet. I am determined to keep the exercise levels up not just to burn off calories, but also to keep my metabolism a bit more active. Welcome anne18 and good luck... |

Afternoon ladies and welcome to our forum anne18. I really need to be on track ,been a little down and therfore have been eating comfort foods mostly at night. In fact I had pork pie last night I have not had this for months and months, what with the bakewell tart (which I dont like, What is wrong with me have I introduced foods I don't normally eat too soon? I have lost 1 pound but I put two on the previous weigh in, so I still owe myself 1 pound. All the best for the next two weeks ladies and thankyou mjm xx

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's noticed how easy it would be to slip into bad habits again. I'm needing to pay more attention when I'm eating. I also need to start exercising again. On a positive note, OH congratulated me on my new shape last night, and two people commented on my weight loss yesterday. I'm glad we all appreciate the encouragement we give one another, because the daily posts keep me going. So welcome anne18 and have a great evening everyone. |

Thanks everybody - I feel so much more positive and cheerful than I did this morning. Bought two new lippies and a pair of shoes. I have the PMK book and cd somewhere, so I'll dig them out and give it another go. Do we weigh in one week or two? I'll be on holiday in two, but only for a week so hopefully wont do too much damage. |
