Just feeling rotten today & in need of a little cheer please ladies

Those W&H forum ladies who I was lucky to have finally met last night may have thought I was a bit quiet and not that friendly.
Well I was and I wasn't!
Compaired to my usual bubbly self, I was a bit quiet and on the edge of the group a little.
If I had been my normal self I would have kept up with the various converations far better and Susan and her jokey, funny remarks would have been fully appreciated for sure

I would have had quicker reactions and replys to them and I actulally did feel rather spaced out then and no drinks were involved honest just a plain cup of coffee

So it turns out I have yet another chest infection.
I suffer with asthma. More often than not, and when I get a slight cold and start sneeze, a few days later it results in me feeling rotten and with yet another chest infection

Off to phone my GP and hopefully potter round there to get my antibiotics.

I need to be well enough to help our son move his stuff up and into his new house up in Norwich this Saturday! OH want to also call in his parents who live near by and also in Norfolk.

Ho humm I do feel glum and in need of cheering up...

Hi dbverycherry - sorry to hear you're not feeling too well today. I hope the antibiotics will sort you out, and in the meantime just take things easy, give yourself a bit of tlc.

sorry to hear you're not feeling too good - hopefully the anti-biotics will kick in quickly and you'll be back to your usual self!
Not as clever as AllyL with the flower piccy I'm afraid - but they are lovely!

Poor you dbvc! It can't be much fun having this happen all the time - and to spoil your fun with your forum friends too. Such a shame.

Rest is the answer, you have few days before weekend, put your feet and be nice to yourself.

Would tell you a joke but I am so bad at jokes, so will just send you

to see you through

So sorry to hear you are not well When I have a chest infection I also increase my inhaler's Hope you feel better soon and hope the tablets 'kick'in before the weekend xx

Glad that your doggie shows her bits too !!! Molly has a habit of rolling over and showing hers to anyone that takes an interest in her, can be a bit embarrassing at times !!

Thank you all so much.
Have just seen my flowers and all your best wishes and I feel loads better already for them.

OH has said he will take photos of our son at his new house share if I am not well enough to go with them on Saturday.

Must dash to call the GP again and then put this lovely bunch of roses from AllyL into water

Wow I just got off a phone call to my local GP and they have got me a 5.50 appoitment tonight.
I nearly fell of my chair in amazment as these appointments are like gold dust. I was fully expecting the same old response of 'will make you out your normal prescription which will be signed and ready to collected in 24 hours'.

Just feeling rotten today & in need of a little cheer please ladies

Got some antibiotics and a course of steriods from my GP tonight.
I did have to wait to the last and for 3/4 of an hour to be seen but at least I am started on the medication tonight.
My mum not now popping over tomorrow just in case and as she is due to go and see her great grandchild on Monday and I don't wish to spread this to baby Keira.

Thanks to rosettastone, ButterflyBlue, ducky- for the bowl of yummy looking cherries, BEL and Lizzie for that o so not fattening cherry cake

After reading of Chris in France yesterday afternoon and of her dear son having just died and all so suddenly at the tender age of 34 I shouldn't me moaning, down or feeling sorry for myself.
But thanks for all the best wishes and hugs here. It is good to know that there are those out there who care and understand.

I think Chirs needs our help more right now and in the very difficult weeks and months ahead for her and her family. For us to be there for her. For her to be able to just chat to us and to have a shoudler to cry on.
I often found it was far harder, when I was in the middle of my grief, to speak to my fmaily and it was far easier to come these W&h forums and talk to you lovely, caring and listerning lot.
My love and sincere best wishes are sent to Chirs in France and her family right now.

Hope you are soon back to your very cherry self!!

If its any consolation, I am suffering with an abcess under one tooth and an infection around an impacted wisdom tooth, so dont feel terribly good today either. Hope the antibiotics work soon... feel spaced out on painkillers! One side of my mouth is totally swollen and keeping me quiet!! Wisdom tooth is likely to be removed by the end of the year... cant wait.
