SAD alarm clocks
|
|
Has anyone used one of those alarm clocks that simulate the dawn and are supposed to help you wake up better? My daughter really struggles to get up in the winter and I'm considering buying one but I don't know of anyone who has used them. They're expensive so I want to know that it's worthwhile!

We have one of these

It is, pardon the pun, brilliant. Mr Ding has to get up for work at 5.30 so on all but midsummer mornings it beats the real sunrise. Much, much better than some noisy thing blaring out.
The other thing it is useful for is as a dim light to help him see his way around the room if he comes to bed after I'm asleep.
Well worth the expense I would say

Yes, very good, had mine for years. Good loud alarm that goes off once the light has reached its brightest. I notice John Lewis do one that has radio, etc. Can recommend.
