Ladycare Magnopluse
|
|
I'm seriously thinking about getting one of these (Ladycare Magnopluse). Has anyone got any experiences they could post and share? Good or bad? Is it effective? Did it help? For me it would be for menopause use.

Hi Holly, me and my workmate have been using these for several months now, and we really do feel they help with the hot flushes. I would give it a go if I were you, you've nothing to lose!

I wouldnt be without mine,no clue how it works but it has definitely made a difference to my hot flushes, night sweats, and restless sleep,I wear mine everyday & during the night, the only time I did refrain from wearing it was on 2 seperate weekends away and within 24 hours I took a period on each occasion after not having one for months...

I read Denzy's post about this on the menopause thread. It said that the device is attached to your knickers.
Well I might try it - the hot flushes might still be there but I bet they would be a lot more fun!!!!

I must say, I’m intrigued by a device that attaches to your knickers!
How do you wash it? Rinse it under the tap while you’re brushing your teeth or something? LOL
I shouldn’t laugh, because at the grand old age of 47 I might need one myself soon!

Jane, I'm so having a laugh at the thought of washing a device that fits in your knickers when you're brushing your teeth, the mind boggles especially as I don't know what what one of these thingys looks like...........

From what I can see from the website it is a plastic coated magnet so no problem with keeping it clean. Although you have it on your knickers I think it is meant to sit on the skin around your tummy area.

Hi Ladies, there are two parts to the Magnopulse the larger part goes inside your knickers and then the smaller bit goes on the outside, thus keeping it in place, I must admit I never used mine for long when I got it but have now got it back in place.

Yes, me thinking of investing in one if my hot flushes start off again (they are in remission at the moment!). A friend I used to work with had one for period pain and swore by it....she once got it stuck on her bike lock when she was near it, and another time when she was leaning on the radiator at the window - hilarious!!!
