Suggestions please...

Hi
I have 2 really nice 'designer' tea towels that I have stapled to canvas and have as pictures in my kitchen - but I'm wondering if there is anything I can do to treat them so that they stay clean. Is there anything I can spray or paint on to give a protective coating? Just thought I would ask you ladies in case anyone had any ideas.
Thanks
BB

That sounds like a creative idea. Tapestries are left as they are so I suppose the tea towels would be ok, as long as food or fat can't get on them.

I have no idea if it would work but how about spraying them with Scotchguard. We used to spray carpets and upholstery with it, in our furniture store, and I always had mine done as it did seem to protect them.

Why don't you get a frame made for them and keep them behind glass?
