Toffee Sponge...Help

Help Ladies,
Does anyone have a recipe for a toffee sponge?????
My daughter has asked for a toffee birthday cake but i can't find a recipe,someone suggested Dooley's toffee liquer but I can't find it in any supermarket....Can anyone help?

How about a victoria sponge filled to overflowing with
'de Luce' ( spelling?? ) toffee goo. You can also add some of the goo to icing to make a topping. Just a thought. I'll have a slice if there is any left over.

hi superbakerqueen . re toffee cake , take a can of condensed mllk boil a large pan of water on to boil when boiling lower tin into pan and cook for 1 to 2 hours simmering make sure it is always submerged an d meanwhile make a basic victoria sponge mix , put your toffee on greased cake tin and toffee on top bake as usual . enjoy .
