who are you?!!!

Hi- as a newbie I just wanted to ask why so few people put their age, occupation, hobbies, even where they live on their page- am I missing something? I put all my details on and then edited them out when I saw that not many people had!!I understand folk might want to be anonymous but surely whereabouts you live doesn't give too much away! Or am I just nosey?!

Of course you're not Fiona,and welcome to the forum.
I used to put all my details up as well,until I was enlightened that it is accessable by everyone.so I took the safer option and edited a few details. You realise that this is not only the friendliest forum ever to have been started but also the crazyiest.You are in for some cracking humour,forum banter,a few sad stories and occasional advice.
Wine o'clock is about sixish,if you want to join in!

I agree with you FionaM - I like knowing where people live. Don't think it's being nosey -just interested. (By the way being nosey myself which part of Glasgow are you from? I lived southside in newton Mearns for 16 years!) You only need to put a county or region not your whole address!!

Hi Fiona,
I did the same as Annemari when I realised that the profile can be seen by anyone, but just kept some brief details in. I agree it's nice to be able to picture where people are and have an idea of what they do.
