Is it due to size? - Slowness of down loading & viewing posts lately?

Some posts take an age to down load and view on to my screen then appear to stretch the whole page. Is it due to all the recent photos that forum members have been posting on posts like the 'Covent Garden Meet' and What do you look like ? I saw that the first two photos on some of these have been deleted but others still remain! Why? Can't you down size them for the posters W&H?
I love to see photos and as many of the forum ladies know I have posted many over the last year or so.
So please don't get me wrong here as I think it is a shame we are limited to 300 x 200 pixels as one can not see any of the details of a photo, in my opinion, at this frankly tiny size. Is this size allowance because you need the space /allowance for all the W&H advertising banners and pop ups?
??? Answers please from the W&H Website Feedback folk ???

This site is driving me mad at the moment - it is soooooo slow!!
What is the matter with it? Thought it was my PC but it doesn't sound like it is. Is anyone else having problems with the time things take to load up? Trying to get from one page to another is a nightmare and as for the pop-ups - well, what can I say other than GET RID OF THEM!!!! (Please)

Hi girls, not been having too many problems with the site being slow but have been having major problems with the STUPID Sure popup advert again!
I do wonder IF the people at W&H take notice of the feedback from us. I sent an email to the Editor complaining about the pop-up adverts and surveys, a few week ago, and it was deleted without her replying, so much for customer service!

I am having alot of trouble with the W/H forum, keeps
freezing, posts keep widening, still trying to open a PM,
and won't let me......what is happening?? no problem with
the rest of the web....can't be bother with the hassle!

Hi all
I haven't had any problems at all with the website until this week, and now it takes ages to get onto the forum and move from post to post. I am not having the same problem with other websites, so it is def something to do with access to this one.

This website is driving me absolutely crazy!! And it doesn't seem to get any better - I am rapidly losing the will to live over it!!
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE SORT IT OUT ONCE AND FOR ALL, W&H !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
