Do you remember your first love?
|
|
Is your first love the first boy you went out with, or the first one who affected your heart for a long time?

The first love was not my first but he stole my heart, with his lambretta scooter. He was put out when after sitting in the braken something moved in my hand, "a snake" i screamed as it shrunk away from me, but it wasn't!!!!! LOL STELLAXXX

of course, he is still my first love & will always remain so, he was wonderful but we were young. We found each other again on Friends Reunited & had a few fantastic phone calls, reliving all our memories & getting closure on a couple of things. He came to find me a few months after we finished but I'd moved so who knows how the story would have ended..... And yes, we are both married & yes both our spouses had a problem with our being in touch. We promised not to meet up, leaving the past where it should be & keeping the lovely memories intact. It was good though to be in touch & I still know where he is if I ever get the urge to see him in the distant future.....

How could I ever forget him. I was 16, he was 18, I fell head over heals in love with him. His name was Jim. He was very tall, very handsome and made me laugh. We went out for a year, then I decided that I didnt have time for my college work and a boyfriend so I ended it with him. I broke his heart and mine too but at the time I thought it was for the best. A year after I realised I still loved him and missed him terribly so I asked him to start again - he said no. He had just met someone else and said he could not hurt her like I had hurt him. He broke my heart. But we could not leave each other alone and we dated in secret on and off for another couple of years. He was also the person I trusted most in the world and knew me like nobody else. WE eventually stopped seeing each other like that and had a break from each other. Then we found that we were friends. From then on he was always there for me in a crisis (and there were a few). I eventually married and had my son, he became my sons godfather. My son adores him. 19 years on from first meeting him we are still great friends, and I will openly admit he still holds a place in my heart.

Like Citygirl I am in touch with my first love via Friends Reunited. Nothing romantic, but we still share the same sense of humour!

Yes, I was 15 and he was 18 and soooo good looking. He had a scooter (Vespa) and I thought I was the bees knees riding around on it with him. He was a bit of a bad boy in respect that my parents didn't like him as he was unemployed and left school without qualifications etc. I think they were terrified that he would steal their little girl's innocence and by golly they were right!!!! He broke my heart as he was two timing me, I kind of knew but he kept seeing me so thought he must love me (fool) and not only did he break my heart but he ground it into the dirt by marrying the girl he two timed me with.
Oh well, I have found my soulmate eventually (made sure I flippin' well played the field inbetween mind!!) and I have been with him for 17 years.
All's well and all that,

Yes I remember it well. I was 17, he was 23 and my brother’s best friend. It was 1978 and 'Three Times a Lady' by The Commadores was our tune! AAAAHHHHHH!! He was a lovely first boyfriend to have and I was totally in love with him. He was incredibly handsome and the lead singer in a band (they never really got anywhere but did appear on Top of The Pops once). I went out with him for three years until he left to go and work in Spain. He broke my heart at the time, but we stayed friends for years afterwards. Last time I saw him he was still gorgeous!!

My first love was Eddy a singer in a band he ''dumped'' me after two months for someone else, I was 15 he was 16 To get back at him I went out with the base player and married him in 1974, but remained good friends with Eddy and I am Godmother to his first son. Trev and I's song was Everlasting love. But it didn't, we divorced in 1990 I am so happy with my second OH but I have no regrets I wouln't have my beautiful D if I did not marry Trev. I am in touch with Eddy on face book and we have a great laugh he lives in Dubai xx
