If you`d like a laugh....

If you feel like a really good bellyache of a laugh, try "When you are engulfed in flames" by David Sedaris....very,very funny.

Re: If you`d like a laugh....

I agree I started reading his books after listening to him on Jonathan Ross - he was very funny but sounded like a old woman it took me ages to realise it was actually a man. I was intrigued and so ordered a couple of his books off that web site we order books from. The books were fabulous - he is so descriptive and I actually laughed outloud reading them. I passed them onto my son of 22 and he has really enjoyed them as well. I must order some more I had forgotten how much they made me smile :-)

Re: If you`d like a laugh....

Hi PG,

After reading this I had to find out who David Sidaris was. I nipped online and looked at some utube stuff followed by a look at an interview he had done on the main web page.

I have never heard of him before but I found him so funny! I love his easy flowing narrative soaked in humour. Just fab.

Look out Borders...I'm on my way and thank you PG for introducing me to a new author.

Sounds worth a look. I so agree about the therapeutic effect of laughter. Borders here I come.
