Hello Falsenails, Welcome to the forum, I'm a bit too far to meet regulary to discuss books but I would be interested in chatting online, with an occassional meet up. Coby28 is from Lisburn, she was posting last week looking for volunteers to walk with. Have a look for her posts. What sort of books do you have in mind? |

Hi bobcat. Good to hear from another bookworm. I don't have a specific type of books I would read, though my pile beside my beside table is mostly fictional. I love to get lost in a good beach/romantic read. I also find autobiographies interesting. What about you? Thats good to know Coby is from Lisburn also. I replied to her message about the walking group but as yet haven't had a reply from her. But will check out her other messages. Thanks for that Speak to you soon Falsenails46 xx

Hi, very new to the forum and looking for others with similar interests e.g. walking, reading, pets etc. Family are at the stage of moving on leaving me looking around and wondering what happened to that lively social life I used to enjoy. I got caught up in work and the children's [adults now] lives and sort of forgot the rest. I am, however, a great reader of all sorts of books and would very much enjoy joining a book club. Lisburn isn't too far for me to travel, I live in the Antrim area. Colly |

Hi there I'm also new to the forum. I love walking, cooking and am a keen reader and would love to join a book club. Like a number of you I'm also a dog lover and have a Miniature Schauzer who rules the roost! I'm in the Comber area so if anyone was interested in a book club perhaps arranging one at a central point would be useful?? |

Hi Mysticjude I have a gorgeous little schnauzer as I suppose you have guessed by my signature. I'm in Lisburn area. I enjoy reading but am so tired at night I fall aleep with the book open. Maybe if there was a deadline by which I had to read I could manage it. If you enjoy walking a few of us meet for walks and a bite to eat although that isnt obligatory, just nice to warm us up. |

Hi, I don't know if the book club took off, but I'm not too far from Lisburn and like yourselves a great reader. I have two on the go at the moment and sometimes wish I could just hide away with my book until I get it finished. I bought Charlotte bronte's Villette the other day. It was serialised on Radio 4 and I missed the ending so really needed to know. Its a typical sad romantic fiction, so hopefully I will get a chance to get stuck into it soon. Let me know if the club takes off. Colly
