Swan Music Sarah Harrison
This is a really intriguing book which I enjoyed from beginning to end. A young girl who is left very much to her own devices by her mother and father leaves home and after great trauma determines that in the future she will always be in control of her life. Her story runs parallel to that of another family and , of course, all is not as it seems. We have a glimpse of the end at the beginning but this does not spoil the book.
I have read The Grass Memorial by Sarah Harrison and will definately look for more of her books

Have just looked on S Harrison's web site and discovered this is the 1st of 3 in a series and they go backwards so explain more and more of the story. I got this one from the charity shop I work in I wonder if anyone will be kind enough to bring the other 2 in!
