walking in London parks

Does anyone fancy doing this ( or is anyone already meeting up to walk in central London? ) My idea is to meet up and walk in Regent's Park, Hampstead Heath, along the canal from Little Venice .. a variety of places...to have a walk and maybe lunch afterwards... I think to be sensible and safe we should meet for a coffee somewhere very public the first time though. Please get in touch if you're interested

Re: walking in London parks

Sounds like a good idea to me, Mags, although I imagine it will be difficult, as I work 7 days a week.

Keep in touch and let me know how you get on and if we can get a group together.

Re: walking in London parks

Hi Summer

Thank you for the suggestion of Hyde Park .. I would love to have been able to come as it would have been a great opportunity to meet people in London - but unfortunately I'm on holiday in France at the time .. I hope you have a lovely day and we'll just need to organise another get-together before too long!

HI Mags,
I would be very interested in meeting up in London parks for walks and lunch - have you heard from anyone else, so we can get a group together?

Re: walking in London parks

Hi Mags
I would be interested in walking the parks but I'm not around much until September. I have done an enjoyable walk starting at Camden lock then up the hill to Primrose hill, great views over London, then down the hill to Regents Park and along the canal to Little Venice then Paddington Lock.
I would be interested in a walk out at the new Olympic site I don't know if one exists.
I'll keep an eye on this thread and perhaps something could be organised in the autumn

Re: walking in London parks

I would definitely be interested in walking & lunch in london parks on week days. I'm on holiday 16-26 July but free after that. Mags - not sure if it's got off the ground but would you fancy doing something around then? I'm very familiar with Regents Park but not so much Hyde Park.
