I'm not free in the week or this weekend I'm afraid but would like to meet up again (if not this time, then the next).

Hi Senna,
What about a walk on Sunday 26th October? Would that date suit anyone else? I am free next weekend for a planning meeting [-not Friday as Bristol Rugby are playing Toulon -although if there are there any more Rugby fans we could discuss walks at half time! .] We talked about the coast path in Clevedon or Chew Valley Lake -Nice tea shops at the end and both about 3/4 miles. Also would anyone be interested in the cityofbathac fun run -4miles 1st November ? It's on their web site. Pauline

I've checked with 'him indoors' to make sure there's nothing I don't know about that he's arranged for us and it looks like I should be free on the 26th. I've never walked by Chew Valley Lake (when I lived in the valley you weren't allowed to!) so that would be good but so would Clevedon as I've only ever been along the sea front and pier.

Senna ,ChrissiFi and Sue - possibly Kiwichris ?-so far can come on the Sunday 26th October. We can walk one or both of the nature trails[- a few miles possibly muddy in places but flat] around Chew Valley Lake. Shall we meet at 11am at the information centre ? Go to www.bristolwater.co.uk/leisure, click on Chew Valley Lake and then maps. The meeting place is shown as picnic area 1 /teashop/information centre. If anyone else would like to join us you are very welcome. If you send me a private message I can give you more details to make sure we don't miss you. Hope it doesn't rain but I am sure the view from the tea shop will be nice if it does and we can plan another walk!

By the way, the clocks go back on Saturday night, so be careful not to turn up an hour before everybody else and wonder what's going on!

I'm looking forward to an extra hour's sleep so will definitely remember to set my clock!

See you Sunday.

Re: Bristol walking group -next meeting

Many thanks to Pauline for coordinating yesterday's walk. The rain held off in the Chew Valley although it was tipping down on the other side of the hill most of the day.
