circular walks in kent

Hi ladies

While sorting my book case the other day I came accross 2 books circular pub walks in Kent and circular tea room walks.

Would any one like to join me for a short walk that ends up at a pub for lunch or a tea room for afternoon tea in the North Kent area? I work during the week, so any walks I arrange will be on either a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.

Let me know if this is something you would like to do. If there is any interest I'll organise something

Jennifer

What a great idea, I also have a circular walk book and we did one of the walks early in the summer, we ended up at a pub called the Green Man which was lovely!

Hi Lynn, your friend will be welcome too. The more the merrier, I'll see what interest we get and I'll work out a plan, in fact I'll do that even if it is just the 3 of us. Where abouts are you? I'll try to start with a walk that's fairly close to all of us.

Hi Kim

I'd be glad to have you along. I'll have a good read though tonight and make a couple of suggestions and see what's the most popular

Re: circular walks in kent

Hi there Jennifer.
I am sure I have those two books you mention.
I have over the past 10 years have done a fair few of those walks and loved them. The Kentish pubs and cream tea places we stopped off at and on the way were just ideal and offer a welcome cosy break and resting place:p
Would love to join you but Sundays are out as they are taken up with our church meeting and then attending the public Bible talks.
May I suggest Bean Country Park. It is fairly near to Blue Water and is an easy a start to the walks. Some of the walks in Kent can be rather hilly and become very slippery when wet!

Hi Ladies

Sorry about not coming back to you with this, I had taken too much on before my trip to New York and didn't get around to looking at this again.

If anyone is still interested, i was thinking about the fist saturday or Sunday in the month, mabe we could meet at shorham and then go for a walk then a pub or tearoom lunch?

Let me know and we can make some arrangements
