Hellooooooooooooooo, Vicks, where are you honey??? Are you still unpacking from your house move, or are you too busy arranging those new scatter cushions, colour co-ordinating the master bedroom and cooking up a storm in your lovely, shiny new kitchen?  Or are you busy working out in your new gym, or swimming hundreds of lengths in that lovely pool and learning to play golf?  (Vicks has an on-site gym,pool and golf club next to her new home girls!!!) Whatever it is babes, (and no excuses about dial up internet connections being too slow!) this forum needs you and I for one am missing you,  so can you please get yourself back on here NOWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!
Come on babes, a girl can only do so much dusting, polishing, and interior designing, we need you on the forum and we need you now! Girl's can you please help get this wayward forumer back online and back where she belongs?

HAHAHA!!!!! How this made me giggle. I was just cursing the computer because I actually could not log on at all. It kept bouncing back to the login screen and I had to delete my cookies to allow me back. So there it is, okay so I have been swimming today and sitting outside the pool reading my book, oh and shopping (boy have I shopped!) needed some furniture and, yes Lisa, scatter cushions! Old ones had to go as they didnt match my new decor. Anyway that shiny kitchen, whilst gorgeous, doesnt get much use these days, well I wouldnt want to leave a smudge anywhere would I!
Am feeling a little under the weather to be honest. Have a sore throat and bit my tongue yesterday when I took a bite of a tasty chicken baguette whilst out shopping with my daughter. It wasnt very pleasant and its sore so I have been pouting all day so OH feels sorry for me and he cooked me a nice dinner tonight and have put the TCP to good use.
Trouble is TCP doesnt mix too well with the large glass of Merlot I have here but hey! I needed a bit of cheering up so thanks Lisa & Gem. I had a super PM from a lovely lady who I had been PMing over a recent thread she had started, and it was so very nice that she said I had really helped her so that cheered me up too.
Cant believe there are no parties going on tonight here.....in fact when was the last time we had one???? Ages ago, am getting withdrawals!

Oh hello you, It's lovely to see those dancing girls again! What's all this about biting your tongue on a chicken baguette then? Don't tell fibs Vicks! You've just been talking too much haven't you, and your tongue's all worn out! Seriuosly, I really have missed you...and I think everyone is keeping a low profile and getting ready for Covent Garden, "THE" event of the year! (Well the event of the year before FF that is?) Have you got your outfit sorted yet Vicks for CG. I just ordered some seriously high heels off the internet today, but still looking for my outfit.

Thanks valaber - I have been using the kitchen (a bit) but our lounge/kitchen is now open plan and I cant just shut the door any more and of course the other problem is now that my mother-in-law lives about 10 mins from me whereas before she lived a good hour. Trouble is she keeps popping round and if she saw a sink full of dishes she'd be wondering how on earth her little soldier could have married such a slovenly lazebag so I have to keep it top notch (only kidding she's a sweetie at the moment!)
Yes Lisa you are probably right - my tongue's all worn out from all the long chats we have been having (Sal that includes you too!) Honestly girls when you get these two on the blower there's nothing doing for at least an hour or two - so nice to have lovely friends that I can talk to for that amount of time!
No Lisa I dont have anything to wear for CG - can feel a Bluewater trip coming on.........

Vicks, we have a new memmber in our "Gasbags" club. I had her on the phone yesterday for nearly 2 HOURS!!!  (Couldn't get a word in edgways as she was soooo CHATTY!!!)

Oh Cuppy, don't be silly, We're not really glam at all, we are all really quite ordinary. In fact I will probably buy a new outfit, and then on the day, I will end up wearing something I've had in my wardrobe for ages! Please don't worry Cuppy, we want to see the real you, so just be yourself and wear whatever you feel most comfortable in.

Oh dont worry Lisa - I know just what a gasbag Cathy is too - we have had a few lovely chats and yes she can chat for Ireland just like I can chat for England - just love the accent Cathy as you sound so like my Mum (which I think I probably told you about 50 times!).
Cuppy - I may dig out my flippy skirt for CG but will it go with my new glitter boots???, what do you think girls???

Cupcake, I shan't be buying a new outfit for the day - I'm blowing my money on the train fare & lunch (and saving up for my nice hotel in Chichester a week later!)
I will, quite literally, have come down from the hills - and after over 3 hours travelling, will probably look the part. So I'm hoping I won't be the only one who doesn't look glamorous.
