new girl

Hello everyone - this is my firsr time on the forum and I want to introduce myself.
I am a young 61 year old, retired, but collect from school, and look after my two grandsons, until mum and dad return from work, so they keep me busy!
I like to keep active and I attend 3 low aerobic classes each week, which I enjoy. I also have a little border terrier, Max, who I take for walks.
I love fashion, make up and hair and I like to meet with girlfriends for a chat and drink.
I love sunny days, and like to potter in my garden.
I have never done anything like this before, but having looked at the website for a few weeks now, decided it might be fun to chat to other like minded women.
I look forward to reading everyones post and hopefully adding my own little bit as well.

Greetings Dorwin from an irregular visitor!
I am sure you will enjoy exchanging views with everyone on here. They say it's addictive, but I haven't found it so to be honest... maybe I am too disclipined for my own good. But life is too short, too many other things I enjoy doing, so I just pop in an out, like that annoying neighbour we all love to hate always after a cup of sugar, a bit of a natter, a cup of tea, and add my two penorth when the mood takes me, when something is being talked about that I know about or want to know about, or have an opinion about. And being a woman, I have LOTS of those....!!

glad someone else is new today. already found it has stopped the clearing out the wardobe job planned for this afternoon. Much better to have the peppermint tea and read what everyone is up to.
Its sunny here in county durham and there's a garden full of weeds awaiting.

Hi Dorwin. Venitia here, I am new also, just 4 days. Have really enjoyed the forums so far, lots of interesting topics to comment on and everyone seems so welcoming and friendly. I am 57, married, have 1 daughter and an 11 week old grandson. Like you I have never tried anything like this before, and it is so addictive, I'm contantly logging on and off throughout the day. I will keep a lookout for you on the forums.
