OMG ITS THE WEEKEND!!

Is it me or has this week gone really quick?, it must be all the happy vibes going we have at the moment.
Has anyone got anything nice planned??
OH working tomorrow morning so I will spend the morning pampering myself, gass to sis.
On Sunday I am determined to get out on my bike. Now OH has got a tow bar and bike carrier for his car, we can go somewhere nice with the bikes, I wonder what his excuse will be now??
I hope you all have a wondeful weekend , what ever you decide to do. I might even open a bottle of red tonight!!, so cheers girls, and thank you for a wonderful week of love compassion and laughs. xxx

mjm, thanks to you as well, you always make me smile when I read your threads. Well, as I said earlier, Im dining out with the forum girls from Lichfield tonight, really looking forward to that, and then tomorrow, Im going to a car boot, I go regularly to this car boot, its only a small one, with no commercial booters, and its in a really pretty village.
When my sister was alive, she used to love car boots, and I always used to turn my nose up at them, but I have had some really good buys. One lady was going to Australia, and had bought a load of Laura Ashley curtains, she hadnt even used them , there must have been five or six pairs, I got the lot for £8. Another time, a lady was telling me she was divorcing her husband, and wanted to downsize, she had this beautiful white tea pot set,with four cups and saucers, milk jug and sugar bowl, (again not used). How can they afford to do that sort of thing, it was only a Villeroy and Boch one, I got that for £12, needless to say mgm I dont turn my nose up at them anymore.
I hope you all have a good weekend and lets hope our news next week will be a lot happier than this week. Plasmo x

Not got anything planned this weekend, I think we will just see what the weather is like.

I hope you have a wonderful time with the forum girls, Plasmo, see if you can pick up a bargain for me, if you see any nice pottery, that would be lovely.

I've got a relaxing weekend, other than shopping tomorrow...I can do what I like...bliss!
Might go on a bike ride with OH like you mjm, but we'll see.

This week has gone fast. I will spend time with my girls at weekend, see what they fancy doing. If i've time in between, I will do a bit of gardening, weather permitting. Have a party to go to on Saturday night for a friends 40th, its a beach Party, but not on a beach, in their back garden. Will I be wearing my bikini?? I think not! Even if the patio heater was revved up to full blast, methinks a coverup will be more flattering. Maybe I could borrow mjm's paper bag in case it rains? Then on Sunday, it'll be a family get together for a nice roast.

Mjm, you do make me laugh! No big plans - need to do something about my hair...I feel a burst of L'Oreal coming on.
We (the choir) are singing at a wedding tomorrow pm - a couple of movements from Vivaldi's Gloria available (not us singing..) on

Our weekend started today as the school is closed for an in-service day. Was also closed last Monday for May Day so am all to pot with my days! We all went to Forfar and had a good look round the new Guide Dog Centre - state of the art stuff. Foley the pup got spoilt rotten, spending the morning in the Puppy Walking Supervisors office - did pop in to see him once, don't think he noticed as was too busy wrestling with a large teddy bear!
Tomorrow morning, I'll be a side-line mum at sons' footie match, then off to stables to see Neville the horse. The kids then have a couple of friends sleeping over - so will look for a suitable DVD to entertain them!
Sunday - am hoping to put my feet up at some point, but I doubt it!

A beach party in the garden, sounds like fun country girl!!, like you, Id be hiding behind the biggest palm tree I could find, plus paper bag!!, I dont do bikinis!, In fact I dont do bellow neck and above knee!! That roast sounds nice.
Valaber, singing at a wedding, wow, Im impressed!, you will have to get that hair sorted if you are going to do posh!!, there is always the parer bag!! sorry how rude LOL, have a wonderful time wont you?

My weekend has started early too....
Finished work at 12noon collected YD and went to get our nails done!! then had a coffee (well tea and hot chocolate) then went to get our hair done.....She had her ROA Presentation last night and has her 'do' tonight so is donning the posh frock and high heels!!!!!
This was a really treat...never done this before with yD but she has worked really hard for her GCSE so deserves a treat....
We never had this sort of thing when we were their age...is a case of too much too young I wonder!!??
I hope she has a really good time....down side I have to pick her up at 1.30am tonight!!

Hi mjm, am going to have to keep my eye on him - he may decide that one of the girls' precious teddies will be a nice replacement for that delish one at Forfar!

Just in from work so having my First voddie of the Evening.Its been a busy week with lots of changes one way and another. Been in tears a few Times which is unlike me :-( as im not great with computers n quite a few other things.will be speaking to our learning rep soon as "upstairs" want to save money and not send me on a course.Just so happens this guy has a soft spot for me so i think/hope hell be on my side.
