I haven't got a photo handy (as this story dates back to pre-digital days) but on a visit to Land's End, we were amused to see a signpost which read "To The Signpost"

In our disabled toilet at work there is a sign that states; people have not been making correct use of the facility and next to it another states; this cord is incase you have difficulty
