We went to Marrakesh for Christmas a few years ago. There are palaces and Royal tombs to visit.We didnt have a guide for the kasbah you just have to haggle.I bought a lovely handbag for about Ł28. If you go to a Muslim restaurant they won't serve wine. There is a good French restaurant really reasonable Will post the name if can remember it.Everything is in walking distance of the Square.If you stay long enough its worth hiring a car to visit the Atlas mountains and to go along the coast and visit the potteries at Saffi and the resort Oualadia.the scenery is lovely and all the donkey carts make you go back in time.
