OH and I were at a wedding at Lake Como last August - absolutely beautiful place - hotel was on lakeside, as was the 5* hotel where the wedding actually took place. Breathtaking.

We were only there for 3 days and were with lots of other wedding guests so didnt travel too far - they have an excellent ferry that takes about 5 mins to get into Como itself (also lovely) but it does do other trips. It stops at all the main little inlets along the lake.
