Fantastic that you are going to Italy.

It is one of my favourite countries, and we had a faboulous holiday there last year.

Totally agree with angellady, be sure to take a mac, as conditions at this time of the year can be questionable, although I have to say we were extremely fortunae, it was hot, and no rain at all.

Tuscany is beautiful, do try to go to Sienna if at all possible, make sure you are feeling extremely energetic though, it is very hilly, but the history and beauty of the place certainly make it a worthwhile place to visit. All of these cities in Italy regardless of what time of the year you visit are always crowded, and Tuscanny will be no exception.

Just enjoy the beauty of the place, sample as much of the cuisine as you can, and get out and about to the places of the beaten track.
