Have you tried tripadvisor website? they recommend quite a few self catering places and small B&B's and give feedback.
My OH & I have booked to go in October and I have since found out that hotel prices are set by the government. So there is not really any chance of a reduction. We have booked Anfiteatro Flavio Hotel which is central,includes continental breakfast and is 139 euro's per night for a room.
My problem is a reasonable way to get from Ciampino airport to the center. Coach is £100 return, taxi about £40 each way
quite expensive for 2 people.
Will be really interested in any tips or advice about what to see & do while there.
