dizee is quite right. Travelodge is fine but do not expect 5 star. They are a clean comfortable bed for the night, with the basic facilities you need. I would not spend more than a few nights in one, but have often used them as a base. And at that price you cant go wrong.
If you do come down to Kent let us know and some of us could meet up with you if you get time.
