All graphic designers are young, with 20/20 vision......and they regard text as just the bits that fill in around the design (ie they never read it - I've never yet met a literate graphic designer in 30 years of briefing-in design). All the magazine's readers are over 35 and regard text as the whole point of the magazine. But their eyes are no longer up to white 10pt text on pink backgrounds, or similar little tricks. A bit of a mis-match, therefore! |
