I have just discovered Woman & Home after many years. I discontinued reading it when the new format came in with all the advertisements and the magazine seemed to be aimed at much younger women. I do yearn for the old format with recipes, articles on home management and the simply wonderful knitting patterns. I did have a collection of old magazine until a year ago when I lost my partner rather suddenly and in my grief threw out lots of things I now wish I had kept. I am new to the Forum, having joined just yesterday after I had read the magazine a friend loaned me, so I am not sure what I am doing. I do use Skype which is wonderful and enables me to keep in touch with my family who are scattered around the country and have a sister in Canada with whom I have a video call with most evenings. Anyway this Forum seems like a wonderful idea, I would like to hear from similar minded women of my age (75) who also regret the passing of the old format of Woman & Home.
