I wouldn't get your colleague to do your hair, fraught with problems if you don't like it!! Just explain she might feel the same.
Actually my hairdresser gives a head massage after washing and I love it. Mine is very good and doesnt try to make you buy those horribly expensive products the have on show, or have any products on your hair if you dont want them. I am terrified of the hairdressers and I have told him so !!
