My natural colour is mousey brown/grey. I colour it myself with L'Oreal Preference and it works a treat. I know I may be 62 but I really want to look stylish. I think with my beige blonde haircolour looks good. Even the hairdresser who cuts it every 5-6 weeks says she couldn't get it looking any nicer.
When all is said and done - it's personal preference. Mousey brown/grey doesn't suit my personality one little bit.
